China bans BTC for the 20.000th time.... 

"Trading and possessing cryptocurrencies is illegal in China as part of broader currency controls, but crypto use is prevalent on the black market."

That's at least one piece of complete and utter bilge from that article so who knows whether any of the rest of it is true?

I do not think this paints a correct image of the situation in China. My current information is that private persons are still allowed to hold and OTC trade cryptos, though exchanges are banned and banks are not allowed to deal with crypto by any means. The wikipedia page sums this up better:

Financial institutions are not allowed to facilitate bitcoin transactions.[13] Regulation prohibits financial firms holding or trading cryptocurrencies.[8]:China On 5 December 2013, People's Bank of China (PBOC) made its first step in regulating bitcoin by prohibiting financial institutions from handling bitcoin transactions.[69]

On 1 April 2014 PBOC ordered commercial banks and payment companies to close bitcoin trading accounts in two weeks.[70]

Cryptocurrency exchanges or trading platforms were effectively banned by regulation in September 2017 with 173 platforms closed down by July 2018.[71]

In early 2018 the People's Bank of China announced the State Administration of Foreign Exchange led by Pan Gongsheng would crack down on bitcoin mining.[72][73] Many bitcoin mines in China had stopped operating by January 2018.[71]

OTOH not being able to cash out in a safe way probably acts like an outright ban for most small fish.

Good solid volume on the volume oscillator (bottom bar).  This is a potential capitulation event to seal off the baby bull and move to adolescent bull.  Would like to see volume higher still though.  You want the volume candle to look like a giant fuck off finger and we aren’t there yet.  

Excellent point, once we hit bottom here (6-7k???), the bull will have entered adolescence. We all know what puberty brings, lots of testosterone which means mega pumps, all time highs, awesome dips along the way, but lots of pamping, pamping, and pamping. Cant wait to get this over with and start a new era in this bull cycle

The thing is if we crash to 3k majority of you guys will NOT buy and scream for 1k.

200 daily ema is broken, 200 daily sma is still trying to hold.

We have the .618 fib from the 3-13,9k move and a cme gap around 7.2k.

Im definitely looking at this now because bounce was quite weak and already lost momentum.
