it looks as though they are protecting Biden,

To the contrary, no offense, but I think your take on this is superficial and naive.

This is the Democrat's way of throwing Biden under the bus.  Had they remained silent the general population would never have heard of Hunter Biden's Burisma sweetheart deal, nor his father's quashing of the Ukrainian investigation.

I know it sounds impossible. But any chance to see 1-2k?? I have cash lying around and I seriously would go all in on these levels.

Why don't you start DCA'ing from these levels? If it goes down to the price you are comfortable with, you'll go all in from there. If it goes up, it is still a win.

I must warn you though, if it ever happens to be that low, you'll not be eager to buy like you are now.

An eternal truth that bears repeating.

some may have pre fork btc sitting around. so by default, it doesnt really matter as one has all versions since anyway.

HODL has many advantages for the lazy.

No kidding. Especially for the more security-conscious.

If it takes time and travel to access most of your many cold storage wallets, there's a tendency to leave them alone.

Therefore they tend to still contain all the forkcoins along with the real Bitcoin.

When the need to sell some coin arises, it's easier to sell post-fork coins because they're probably closer at hand.

yes, deliberately making cold storage coins (somewhat? very?) hard to get is a help. youll only access them if its really, really worth it, and it will take days anyway. such a cold storage strategy
is fairly good protection against sudden idiot moves, said idiot being me.

Quote
As it is, whenever I sweep a cold storage wallet, I mark it as swept and keep it for possible future forkcoin retrieval.

that too, but also ive tried to keep keys or seeds for every wallet and address (whether paper/hardware/software/whatever format) ive ever used. mainly to show i still control them and can prove it if needed. that ive had and still have direct control of addresses many of my coins lineage contains may come in handy when i cash them out if a bank or etc want proof i mined them, need the cost basis, etc.

Taking into account that greater adoption is being taken for Bitcoin and Technology, it is likely that this graph at some time Not determined will continue its rise.

As time passes, market conditions change, but each day it is likely to add a new investor and / or speculator to the market.

My trigger finger is getting itchy, must remain disciplined with my buys. DCA at regular intervals, ignore the ups and downs. Put into cold storage. Look at it about as often as looking at other investments, maybe a couple times per quarter to reassess. I am not a daytrader, I am not a daytrader, I am not a daytrader…

Need a nice 1K$ green candle before end of the week, as BTC knows how to do (above 9K$)  Roll Eyes

Otherwise we will probably see the 7/7.2K$ area... Then Retest 6K$ (again and again) is possible if not hold.

Stay positive for the moment.

You seem to be of the notion that since BTC is doing well relative to the other Bitcoins at the moment, that it will do so for all time.

As you are aware, my thesis is that Blockalypse II is in BTC's future, which will drive adoption to the other Bitcoins. This is an episodic event, consisting of a sea change in BTC's operating environment. Such an precipitating event may result in a snowball into the more capacious Bitcoins, each of which fits the purity narrative of hewing closer to the initial protocol design.

IOW, Past performance is not a guarantee of future results.

Hey jbreher... Lets say for a moment Blockalypse II takes place. I would think this would be so damaging to Crypto it might not add value to other cryptos. It might just make people turn away altogether. Just thinking out load. In a real Apocalypse it would take a long time to recover from the devastation.

Why? There were two directions (ultimately three) in with the masses could have thrown their lot. The masses went one way, when the proper decision was another. All it would show is that sometimes the masses choose poorly. Would this stunning revelation really surprise anyone? Nay. They'll just adjust to the usable chain. As they should have at the initial fork time.

Your 'stall of BTC means the death of crypto' narrative wears no clothes.
