NP jbreher will keep pumping/supporting that one

Clearly BSV led that drop. Little ol' BTC merely caught in the wake.

or smth

Whatevs... I have all the time in the world.

One will not say that when he’s under the dirt......

No man got all the time in the world....

When one is in the catbird seat, the difference between the end of the world and 'it doesn't matter' is merely academic.

Well hopefully you are referring to you BTC investment rather than bcash or various varients of bcash, which are both likely to perform less well than bitcoin.

Of course, if you have a smaller portion in bcash, then you still might do o.k., but not as well as if you ONLY held bitcoin.

Past performance is not a guarantee of future results.

That's an evasive response if I had ever seen one.   Tongue

No evasion whatsoever. If one reads and ponders, that response is all that need be said.

You seem to be of the notion that since BTC is doing well relative to the other Bitcoins at the moment, that it will do so for all time.

As you are aware, my thesis is that Blockalypse II is in BTC's future, which will drive adoption to the other Bitcoins. This is an episodic event, consisting of a sea change in BTC's operating environment. Such an precipitating event may result in a snowball into the more capacious Bitcoins, each of which fits the purity narrative of hewing closer to the initial protocol design.

IOW, Past performance is not a guarantee of future results.

Years ago, a “technical” decision was made by a core gcc developer named Drepper to break static linking. This means that no useful binaries can ever execute on Linux without dynamically linking to certain libraries making the proposition of distributing signed binaries futile, making the proposition of secure software futile, making the proposition of Bitcoin futile, making the proposition of sound money futile, making the proposition of free trade futile.

All you folks got far too little patience expecting new highs around the corner. That spike that happened in December 2017 - chances like that don't come around like buses. That is gone for a long long time.

This chart here has about the right timeframe. Although the peak of each high is exponentially higher, the time between such surges gets longer and longer.

We're looking at 2021-2022 to recapture 20-20k again and 2023-4 for new highs.

There is another possibility though.

If we follow a s-curve adoption rate then we should get a big boost somewhere in the middle which then will get slower again... Smiley

Lol, its at  £466, the idiots don't know they are not bidding on real bitcoin.

Deary me.

I can see the headline from Coingeek now - 'British government declares BSV's true value'.

Yeah, i cringe when I see a post with links to that scum site.

Any luck they'll sue for false advertising and a law will be made saying the word 'bitcoin' may not referenced when mentioning bsv or bch.

If it was 100 coins being sold then there would be some blowback but right now some idjut is getting fuked and about to learn out the hard way to dyOR. Smiley

Any opinions about this theory regarding a whale dumping 1.2million btc yesterday to crash the market?

So where is the proof on this?

Also, we're not at $3000. Chart from late 2017 to now looks more like spring-summer 2013.

Or one could just pull that curve to match actual movements and see where it leads. My guess is a slightly lower top closer in time.

CBOE, Bakkt and GBTC (et al.) will serve institutions in this next bull run, but not in an ideal way. The industry will be screaming for an ETF.

And once the ETF is approved it will serve as a stamp of approval for all these half measures like CBOE, Bakkt and GBTC so they will gain liquidity as well.

That's when we'll see a slow and steady multi year rise to a new reality.

5 minutes until Rambo last blood

The one man army story

Like BTC is the one army coin

Mic sees similar stories Cheesy

There's another Rambo movie? He must be like, what, 80 now, he's a Vietnam vet ffs.

Fun fact: Rambo is actually the name of an apple, the author thought it sounded cool and named his character after it.
The apple originated in Ramberget in Sweden and was brought to New Sweden, now Delaware, by Peter Gunnarsson in 1639. He started growing apples over there and named one of the apples Rambo after Ramberget.
The original trees died in a particular hard winter in the 1700s, but has since been reintroduced from the USA to Sweden.
