I've got a bottle of palinca de pruna from Emil Florescu - Comuna Cuca - Jud Arges which I still haven't tried.  I bought it for all of the medical benefits listed on their brochure - a balm for the heart - is what really sold me on it

I had to search on the internet for this product, that region doesn't really have a tradition in making palinca. Palinka is a Hungarian word after all and Arges county was not under Habsburg empire. (And there are quite some tricks to make it strong without destroying its taste, I don't know if this guy knows them or not.) The regions with real tradition and known for good palinca are Salaj county, Bihor county and Maramures county.

I've drank maybe over 100x more palinca than vodka in my life and unfortunately there are too many vendors that sell crap  just because 75% of the buyers don't drink it or just cannot feel the taste anyway because of the high alcohol content. Also some just sell weaker drink (tuica) as palinca.
However, whenever you decide to drink it, let me know how it was. I hope it is indeed a balm for the heart.

So now that we're back up in 8200's after a dip to the 7800's, how far do you think this rally could last?

I think that we will get another decently large correction before we go above $17,400.

Remember there was a similar dip to 8ks and a return to 9ks before dipping down to the current 8.2ks. Can that happen again? What do you guys think?

A quick Scalp Opportunity for today



On 5 minute chart we are in a sideways channel. Breaking it on either side could cause a lot of movement. So here is a great opportunity for short term traders. If btc breaks below 8200 we are getting a death crossover and also MACD Crossover and we are then going down towards 8050-8100. So you can short somewhere around 8195 and target towards 8100. It can be a good profit with some leverage on. Instead if BTC tries to move upwards in such scenario the 50MA would give a curvature upwards then buy above 8250 and target 8360 and 8400. The Stop loss should be on the other edge of this sideways channel. If you shorting SL would be 8250 and if longing SL would be 8200.

FYI, most people in WO are not interested in 5 minute charts. Daily and weekly charts only.

Meaning, I'm not that good at TA - mainly because I don't put a lot of faith in it.  I do have hunches, but they're wrong half of the time. So I plan for both scenarios. If I smell storms, I chicken out. When I think there's a decent chance to make a little profit one way or another, I put my big toe in the water. If it feels OK, I get knee deep. And so on. I never denied it does take a little work. What matters with me is that I can do it with a cool, detached head, without impulse "recovery" trades that would drag me in the abyss. Admittedly, cool comes easier once you manage to sit on a profit buffer AND you only stake all games with the same fixed amount, stashing away the excess into cold storage, with some sensible schedule you find works for you.

I'm pretty sure TA is short for SOMA.

To his defense Indian subcontinent has more than 30 + official languages ( Main languages : Hindi, Urdu, Tamil, Punjabi, Bengali, Dari,Pashto, Sinhala,Gorkhali etc)  and not counting thousands of other dialects.

 I did investigate asian languages for the pronunciation of Vodka as well and half are pronounced Vodka (except where there is no vee sound and then it is replaced by a bee or a you sound).  The other half are using a word that sounds like arak... except for Armenian -oghi- which is just out there on its own - whichever Armenian coined that word must have had a very bad experience with Vodka.  In all honesty, I was just trying to be funny but I got a little carried away with my research.

The Swedish word for vodka is actually "brännvin" litteraly "burnt wine", burnt being an older word for distilled.
Vodka have kind of crept in and taken over the last 30 years.

One of the most popular "vodkas" in sweden is "absolut rent brännvin" meaning "absolutely clean vodka" usually just called "renat" meaning cleaned.
In the 80s a export version was made and exported as "Absolut vodka", in Sweden sold in parallel with the old brand. As time went by the name on the original bottles was changed to "Renat brännvin" With the word vodka under.
So vodka is slowly replacing the old word.

I still take an intermediate low of $5k-$6k around the end of Q4 into account, based on a giant bearflag, by my own lousy TA.
Otherwise i'm bullish for Q4 and 2020 in general, but if BTC is more than good at one thing, then it's to surprise.
My plan is to hodl on, save fiat, buy corn in Q1/2020 or even wait until the halving and invest in some shitcoin that is carried upwards by bitcoin, to compensate for missing out the $7-$8k range for rebuy (cause lack of fiat).


EDIT: It's all mindgames, but i won't be selling, that's for sure.

Share that TA with us. Let us also make a judgement on whether it is lazy or accurate.
tbh, $5k - $6k is way too low given the rebound tendency this year. I think by the time we close, we could be touching $9k or late $8ks.

I have my own TA for this too, but in my case, it is me who is lazy enough to not post it here  

Here we go. I posted this a few days ago, and i'd consider this lazy-inaccurate-not-even-serious-TA.
It just draws a triangle, not even respecting MA lines (10,50,200). It would take a lot of marketcap loss to bring that MA200 down, otherwise most uf us would be rekt   But still, RSI leaves room for going down a little more, too.
It's Bitcoin, so surprises are included by default.



DISCLAIMER: Don't think my "TA" (painting) could be right, just if you dream about buying BTC at past price levels. I'd strongly suggest to go with the analysis of a(ny) Legendary instead.

for the record: closed my long position. we will see if 200 hourly SMA will hold.  

the short position is 392.9 points in red (loss).

EDIT: @Eddie: do you sleep sometimes too? maybe just 4 hours or so?  

EDIT2: looks not so good for me! price is above support and 200 hSMA again. sl is at $8300. bullish sentiment in general.

Looks like that little pump earlier today didn't have legs. Just another lower high. How long before we drill below the $7,700s? My bet is it's coming in the next few days.
