@VB I know how you feel. I'm a cat lover too. I've kept company with dozens of domesticated and semi-feral cats. Lately, I switched to a females only policy for domesticated cats with house access. I'm still a widower. The latest cat I had was the most specialest of them all. I'd got hold of her by sheer chance. I got her as a young adult because her previous human (an old lady) didn't feel she could manage anymore. I want it to happen like that again: I'm waiting for the purrfect pussy to jump on my lap (metaphorically), rather than reaching out to find my next feline princess.

We know from the start that in the "normal" scheme of things, our friend will go before us. So we've got a choice. Is avoidance of the eventual pain worth giving up a good chunk of life with a feline companion?

Even in the event that an attacker gains more than 50% of the network's computational power, only transactions sent by the attacker could be reversed or double-spent. The network would not be destroyed.

I could take the time to break down all his ignorance, but I will not.  I will say I am a distance cyclist, and once I got my salts right (you actually have to make sure you get enough salt so your blood pressure does not drop too far when you are keto) I had no problems with my 50m+ rides.  In fact many endurance athletes on KETO are breaking their PRs and even taking 1st place in ultras and other long races.

The simple fact is refined carbohydrates are bad, in general, for human beings.  One does not need to be KETO to improve their life but just cut out sugar and refined carbs completely.  All things in moderation.

Keto is great for endurance. Normal people have so much energy stored as fat. Once your metabolism adapts to burning fat, endless energy!

Had a lovely talk with a chap in a supermarket who said his doctor had told him to go keto. Is there any scientific research on the keto diet?

He said this was for his week's food, not yet finished, but he gets his steaks from a proper butcher.

So much processed meats!  I don't think that is keto at all, more like a typical American diet.

EDIT: Getting into ketosis is easy, just don't eat for a few days.   It is a natural thing that happens where the body switches over to burning stored fats.   Just don't do it too long, because once the stored fats get too low the body has to turn to burning proteins which leads to death in a few weeks.  So most of us should stop eating for more than six or seven months.

Having been on a keto/Low carb diet for > 4 years being supervised by my PCP I can tell you that just about every thing he says above is complete bullshit.

Most the stuff you and Dabs said about Keto is bullshit.  I realize everyone's body is different and just like some people taking ADHD drugs calms them down while others taking it is the equivalent of taking meth, but it's common knowledge that LOW ENERGY is one of the main side effects of ketosis.  Look at the top results that come up when you type keto in Google for fucks sake:

Just about everything you shitcoin pump and dump scammers say is completely contrary to reality.  I definitely had this so called "keto flu" when I did it for a month or two.  'Ketosis' is not some hidden secret nutritional miracle.  If all you were doing is trying to eat healthy, the #1 main thing you would do is not eat dairy products, as the older you get, the more the human body tends to reject them with an antigenic response (cooking the dairy products negates a lot of this).  Dairy products are designed for children and not adults in other words.

Price is going up nicely now over $8200. Smiley
Why the sudden burst up in the btc price any news which broke now since 12 hours ago where it stood at $7900? Sad

MicG and I donned the Vegeta hat.  Bitcoin value is powerless against it; price burst was inevitable.

Good call! Wink
Maybe I should get a hat with $20k vegeta and put it on to let the price really take off! Grin
Let me know if you can do animated gif hats. Smiley

This hat just might hypnotize Bitcoin to 20k.

Or the invisble hand of the market will come and piledrive Bitcoin into the ground leaving physical metals as the only survivors.

ABC News aired a video on Sunday that host Tom Llamas said depicted a Turkish attack in northern Syria against Kurdish civilians. Turkey is indeed pushing into Syria and slaughtering Kurds along the way, but the video ABC News played last night is from a military gun demonstration in Kentucky that was published to YouTube in 2017.

Notice the date (Oct 11) top left. And you even see the crowd standing still with there mobile phones recording the demonstration..LOL.

I thought that we were no longer allowed to add animated avatars.  Only those members who already have animated loaded can continue to use the one that they have loaded, but if they try to upload a new animated avatar, the forum will not allow.   Isn't that the current avatar rule status?  i.e... no new animation.
