If BTC doesn't make a significant green dildo Soon™, then we are staring at a death cross on the 50|200 MA.
Which I'd like to think that it's a fake signal this time round - & rip through the 200MA - like inmates would rip through r0achie's body & soul, should he go to jail. Roll Eyes

We need to be around $9500-$10500 by the end of the year imho.

one day, we will read this news:

a girl was forced into prostitution after being released from prison. the government seized her house and all her properties. the girl was convicted of tax evasion, she used Bitcoin to evade taxes for several years.
The Bitcoin network protocol was designed to be extremely flexible. It can be used to create timed transactions, escrow transactions, multi-signature transactions, etc. The current features of the client only hint at what will be possible in the future.

You tell me, how's that ~ 0.011 BTC per Scam Vision coin going? Will it hold for a while or will it tank even further soon?

Hey my camel lover, you almost got me. I almost laughed. Did smile though.

The problem with legal status of THC etc. is that it might change back again after legalization and then your business and also passion is fucked.

I'm fairly convinced that once it's Federalized, and the government recognizes it has a new, considerable teat to squeeze for tax revenue, it will be a difficult move to reverse. Similar to re-establishing alcohol prohibition. I'm fairly certain it would be cause for civil war to break out in the USA, were alcohol to be outlawed, at this time.

There's just too much black market THC product going around out there that is causing serious health concerns (eg: Vitamin E-Acetate being used as a thickening agent for black market concentrates, leading to lipid-based pneumonia. e-Salts and THC oil mixtures combined and forming hydrochloric acid in the lungs).

The trips I've made out to California, and Las Vegas, and engaging with all the above-board operators gives me a small window of insight of a larger Utopia to come, should the waves ripple the way I hope they do.

Until then, I will remain patient. And HODL, if Rick calms his goddamn tits...

I hope the best for the international acceptance of CBD, THC and CBN (thus weed'n weed products), also for the vanishing of smoking fucking filthy tobacco.
Smoking tobacco is almost as addictive as smoking opiates but don't even deliver any kind of rush besides the body sensations because of the elevated levels of carbonoxides and poisons in the blood. The only effect is withdrawal relieve for a few dozens of minutes.
I had all of this before. Combined with weed, tobacco seems to make weed much more addictive. I couldn't wait to get home after work to roll a fatty. After i quit tobacco, i had many days when i went to bed at night and recognized that i didn't even start up the vaporizer.
THC never did anything bad to me, i don't get the politics behind the prohibition, despite all the clear speaking results of studies about the benefits of legalization.

That's just propaganda spread by the tobacco companies. Nicotine is not that addictive at all. What, you get a few and ever fewer fleeting cravings per day for a few weeks? Does not compare to quitting heroin; 'flu-like symptoms, diarrhoea, nausea, headache, worse, you know the drill.

I know the drill from my brother in law, yep.
I, for myself, tried opium a few times when i was young but the turn almost bored me to death. I reacted very differently to it than my friends and it was easy quitting it (or not continuing, to be precise).
Well, after quitting smoking, i had the idea of getting a smoke, from many times per day to occasionally over the course of years. Whenever i was weak (or drunk) enough, i gave in and couldn't stop it afterwards (again). I needed several tries to grasp that it is addiction, not just a habit. The withdrawal symptoms are barely recognizable BUT psychologically, it's a different beast, imo.
When i realized the uselessness of smoking, i was finally able to smoke for a night and successfully stop again, a few times a year. The feeling of stupidity when smoking, like when you call up that girl you know you shouldn't ever get intimate with again, was the main reason to break my psychological addiction of tobacco. Not that i didn't suffer from these thoughts to smoke again soon afterwards, but the uselessness factor made it very easy to withstand.
Don't know about pure nicotine, but i guess it's easier to get away from it than from tobacco with its dozens or hundreds of secret additives.

Me and some of my friends have been able to quit smoking cold turkey. For me, it was a financial decision. Better health was just a bonus. Or maybe it was the other way around. They decided to raise taxes on it, so ... prices would also go up.

I knew another friend, who quit for a year, because he kept a promise to himself. The next year he want back to smoking, because he already fulfilled his promise. I don't know if he still smokes now or not.

Yeah, i considered smoking the biggest waste of my life, in contrast to all those substances i was taking. The health boost was great, too.

On WO topic: I think i'm seeing things in my SOMA charts that i don't like. I hope the next two days btc keeps going sideways or up. Sober now, btw.  Grin

TBH, it's quite easy to do when off on vacation and enjoying life with a special someone. Didn't once check the price while we were out, recently. Was too busy having fun to GAF.

Now, touching back down in Dallas and loading up Bitcoinity brought a tear to my eye, I'll tell you hwat.

You have to go through the deepest of troubles in life to find real love.

Actually I was just trying to raise a smile. I don't really care about the price at all. I just hang around and try to keep up cos you guys seem fairly nice most of you. But I will say 8 grand for a bitcoin is ridiculously cheap when you consider its full potential. It's just a waiting game between now and then.

Nicotine is more or less like caffeine. If you can't drink your usual cup of coffee or tea, you may get a headache and be a little grumpy. After a while these "withdrawal symptoms" will disappear. What makes cigarette withdrawal so difficult is definitely contained in the thousands of additives found in cigarettes today. One of them might be monoamine oxidase inhibitors, I do not know if they are naturally present in tobacco, but if someone responds to them and want to stop smoking, it could make it very difficult.
