How you holding up Bob?  I think right now the fucking country is united: Everyone's depressed that their guy ain't winning.

Well on my way to being sauced up for a solid afternoon nap; maybe my pending TX will be confirmed by then.

I don't know how a "first world" country like the USA can fuck up a major election ballot count this badly.

It's unbelievably depressing.

*nod* We ain't a first world country anymore Bob. Haven't been for awhile, except for the dollar which is pretty much toilet paper.

The pending tx problem is a big reason I advocate litecoin: If you have a hooker in the room and it's payment time you don't want to dick around with Bitcoin. You want her ass gone in 2.5 minutes or less.....

It's unbelievably depressing.

... it's pretty simple, the Democrats always oppose tighter, more fraud-proof voting systems and introduce looser systems (mail-in voting, early-voting, late-voting, absentee voting, ID-free voting) that messes up any hope of swift, accountable vote count results ... then they can easily mess with the count in tight races when everyone is asleep to find just the right amount of votes to swing it for their guy

... it's been like this in the US for as long as I have watched, apparently since the 60's too

edit: after the huge Bush-Gore shit-fight in Florida in 2000 they actually fixed their broken counting system and now have a quick count on the night, as it should be ...

whatever the outcome...split government will continue, hence both US stock market (more) and btc (less) are loving it.
Not sure why gold is down...maybe temporarily or perceives less stimulus aka "printing", perhaps.

Re election:
1. I am close to 100% sure that there is a better way of doing it in the 21st century.
2. I would go to a direct vote, but nobody asks me, besides, something something about small state representation.
I agree, but people in Cali, NY and TX usually feel a bit strange that the vote of many millions almost does not count (electoral college does not split a vote for these states).

Markets only care for whoever gives them another shot of stimulus sooner, Biden seems to be the favorite in this regard.

Be strong Bob, wait until we hit $15k, should be able to BTFD shortly after the correction to $12,6.

See. This is what I have been recently wrestling with myself. "So I sell $x worth of corn now. With the way it's appreciating, I can sell $x-n coin in the future and still come out the same"

I just can't go completely insane, while executing that plan.

Yet.

EDIT: About to crack open pivo #6. I need to feel something, even if a screaming hangover, if I'm not selling today... Emotions suck, yo.

It's just money, sell if you need it right now or sell if you are convinced that the chances are higher that you can rebuy low in the future.

Cannot drink right now. Having COVID symptoms, got tested....results say negative. With all the false negatives not encouraged enough, nor am I feeling up to drinking anything other than water.
