Don't start jumping around the walls.

That small HW error rate is nothing to worry about.

one of my L3, after running over 2 days, capturing 380++ and another board is 170++.

Is that normal?
Yes as long as your ASIC status is all 0000's.

You only live once....if you do it right, once is enough.

This new batch's policy is complete shit IMHO - I suggest not to buy it.

In the last 30 days efficacy of these miners HALVED on nicehash, at this moment, ROI in crypto for L3+ is 4+ months, by the time you get them will be most probably way over 1 year.

It is plain stupid to buy these with crypto, and then mine for 1+ year just to return what you paid for them in the same currency.
Makes no sense.

I got 4 in from the Aug/Sept batch.  Total paid $5200, sold 3 and tripled my investment and still have one to play with.  Even after the E-Bay and Paypal fees I tripled what I paid for them.  I'm happy!!

You are braver than me.  I've had people charge back after 2 months on hardware and no matter what I said the buyer got sided with.  They mined for 2 months for free and sent me back my now used equipment....worth it if you get a legit buyer but it's a shot in the dark

That would suck. I'd withdrawal any money I had from Paypal, remove my bank account, and let Paypal deal with the chargeback. That's why I hate using Paypal. I don't sell anything anymore on eBay/Paypal, the marketplace here works just fine Smiley

Don't start jumping around the walls.

That small HW error rate is nothing to worry about.

Bro but Second Hashing Board is new 8Hrs before i got from Bitmain, From starting I getting HW error what will be the problem,
May be Problem with PSU or Controlling Board.

First AntMiner? A large percentage of boards on brand new AntMiners (of all models) generate errors regularly. I've seen boards generate 1 HW error per minute that perform as well as boards with 0 HW errors for months and months and months without issue. Ultimately, it's a poor indicator of whether there's actually a problem. Just pay attention to the ASIC Status section and make sure there aren't any -'s or x's.

Got a funny story to tell here in Thailand. I made a bunch of money of the wanna be miners lol. Most of these new idiots were willing to pay 5k+ per miner on the market. I ordered around 20 for the July batch, I sold them all for around 4.5k each when my August batch arrived. Now I made back all the money I spent on all 50 miners I bought and I think I got 100LTC out of the whole ordeal.

Antminers can make you rich as fuck guys. But you just gotta be smart and have idiots buy them off you for jacked up prices. Its very easy, just show them the Nicehash calculator and tell them how much money they'll be getting. Most people know absolutely nothing about difficulties and market price fluxes. Gotta love Thailand

Wheelz is on the ball here, the reason why they sell for so much through ebay is generally the scammers soak them up and fire off a chargeback, i have spoken to numerous people who have sold on Ebay and they were telling me around 50% turn out to be a scam in one form or another, huge numbers really.

Cash or Crypto... - only way your covered.

Hello Fellow miners,
So I got my first 3 L3+ yesterday. - Amateur miner

Bellow you will find my almost first day tests

Testing TOTAL overview hours: 20 electricity - 72 kW - 11.52 $ ( + normal house usage ) - 0.16 $ / 1 kW - 1.5 GH/s

Tests :

1. hash-to-coins.com - random coins mined based on coinwarz.com https://www.coinwarz.com/cryptocurrency/?sha256hr=9460.00&sha256p=2600.00&sha256pc=0.1000&sha256c=false&scrypthr=504000.00&scryptp=800.00&scryptpc=0.1600&scryptc=true&x11hr=450.00&x11p=120.00&x11pc=0.1000&x11c=false&quarkhr=450000.00&quarkp=75.00&quarkpc=0.1000&quarkc=false&groestlhr=45.00&groestlp=825.00&groestlpc=0.1000&groestlc=false&blake256hr=11.20&blake256p=600.00&blake256pc=0.1000&blake256c=false&neoscrypthr=400.00&neoscryptp=400.00&neoscryptpc=0.1000&neoscryptc=false&lyra2rev2hr=30.00&lyra2rev2p=600.00&lyra2rev2pc=0.1000&lyra2rev2c=false&cryptonighthr=2800.00&cryptonightp=600.00&cryptonightpc=0.1000&cryptonightc=false&ethashhr=108.00&ethashp=600.00&ethashpc=0.1000&ethashc=false&equihashhr=1180.00&equihashp=600.00&equihashpc=0.1000&equihashc=false&e=Coinbase

Here you should register first - send referral to account where you will mine , so you can also get referral bonus

Mined around random types of coin ( Verge, Goldcoin, NLG, AUR, ABY , EMD , NVC etc )
Results in $ ~ 15 - in 10 hours of testing

No trade speculations - just sold at last bid.

2. give-me-coins.com - 1 Hour all 3 + 10 hour 1 L3+ = 0.17 LTC

3. litecoinpool.org - 10 hour 1 L3 + = 0.13 LTC

4. ltc.tbdice.org - gamble - 10 hour 1 L3 = 0 LTC

5. nicehash.com - I'm now thinking about putting all 3 of L3+ in solo mining here for gambling my luck , but I see that I only get half of speed so ~750 MH of all 3. Anybody knows why this is happening ? As it works fine on other pools.

Grand Total =
Payout 15 $/altcoins + 15 $/LTC = 30 $
Electricity = 11.52 $
----------------------------
Profit = 18.48 $
Per device per test = 6.1 $
Per device per day = 7.3 $
Per device per hour = 0.305 $
An average of 0.3 $ profit per hour per device is clearly not what I was looking for

If any of the veteran miners is willing to help me out with some guidance, it would be gladly appreciated.

Maybe my approach is wrong or I will have to really get into trade view of altcoins which I wanted to avoid.

Many thanks in advance for your replies.

you have their adress and full name. i would send a anonymous message to their tax authorities to check them. i dont know the laws in your area, but in germany you have to pay taxes for mining incomes. maybe he is getting f*** up by government Wink

Guys, who knows how to change MAC address of Antminer? Really need this info, I know how to be grateful...
Not sure what you're saying here? Your IP address? If you search in your router you will find your IP address for the miner. Post that in the "search bar" and it will take you to the Antminer page where you manage your unit. Is that what you mean?
No, I need to change my Antminer's MAC-address, that is my miner's network card address.

Have you tried smsc95xx.macaddr=B8:AA:BC:DE:F0:12 (http://elinux.org/RPiconfig#Network), where the address is the one you want it to be?
