One block quickly can change our luck % pretty heavily. We've already gone through a slow point in April and with the added hash we're really moving now. 140 PH currently is like 600% increase to pool in the last 10 days or so (from 20-30ish?). Those who have been around it should seem to come quickly those just getting here may find it hard to bare the wait. We did shave a rough 15 day block expectation to 9 or 10 days with the growth in pool. If we lose another 2-3 days of wait now that's exceptional. We'll see how the math gods treat us.

Also before we get a worked up, remember this is a free pool. Any work done here is on the time of people not getting paid to do so. If you're not clear on how the pool works, I would read the home page and read through the thread, catch up and start conversation.

I'm a novice but I look at the work page to see if i'm in payment and check my user stats periodically. This isn't designed to be a pool to page watch, and refresh a lot. Your miners will take time to ramp up, but your still stacking herp for the block, as catch up to the pool in derp. I feel it's only a poor experience if you choose it to be, everyone here is pretty cool.

...[stuff]....
That's not very friendly user experience, that's all.
Point in fact, if you don't like the web page(s) that your fellow miner and/or the 0-fee pool op wrote for free (out of the kindness of their hearts), you can always sit down and write a better one on your own time....

Or mine solo on your own node. ckpool seems to attract people who really get  the payout system, or it just really hard to grab at first. The point is the pool discourages hoppers, rewards you for every share submitted. Just takes time to ramp up to earn it and being a smaller pool time to find a block. Who knows maybe we'll double up like in March.

I hope all realize my comments questions for my learning curve. I have consistently shown appreciation to the creators here.  Luck is what it is. If you don't like one craps table you move to another because you think that one will be luckier. And look at the bright side. We will hit a block by tomorrow noon time.  (I'll tell you the time zone after we hit)

The stats for the main miner are off because they have 12000 miners which the hashmeter can no longer measure accurately and is only showing 52ph.
Any plans to fix this?

Probably not worth CK's time and effort since the pool is not regularly like this, and 12000 miners is also quite an abnormal amount, so unless it becomes a regular occurrence and issue it''s not worth it.

Not particularly unfortunately. The locking required for one user's stats to be locally more accurate would be expensive code wise, and will adversely affect scalability of the overall pool. It's more important that the pool scales linearly with number of users. Currently the pool is servicing 12500 clients at 3200 transactions per second and could service about 20x that on the current server thanks to that scalability. At this stage there is no need to look at a bigger server as well as I'm not sure how long this hashrate will even stay with us, and unfortunately still expect a downturn again.

EDIT:
...Right now, I need to check two places before I know if I am getting anything and if so, how much...
You, literally, quoted a single place (1 less than 2) to go which gives you "if I am getting anything and if so, how much"....

Edit 2:
...I've seen stats and info there, you getting xx amount in next block. And I didn't.....
You didn't, because we haven't hit that next block yet. No matter how I code a page, I can't make it prepay you for a block we haven't found!

You still don't understand. There is two places to check:
http://ckpool.org/#/user or www.yourcomputergenie.com/?address=yourbtcaddress
...To check how much you getting in the block.

Last time, before block, I've checked that and I thought I am gonna get something from next block. And bang, block happened, but I've just learned that these stats are nothing without stuff below:

http://ckpool.org/#/work
To see if your address is on Payment or Postponed list. If you postponed, then first link doesn't matter, you not getting anything.

That's what every small miner have to do. Literally.
And I am not blaming anyone, or I am not requesting anything. I've asked how this work because I didn't know, don't say on me "write better interface if you don't like it", please.

EDIT: Maybe I sound hostile, but believe me I love this pool and I will stay there no matter what. Sometimes I just like to understand a little bit more what's under the hood and how to interpret what I see there. Thanks everyone for being here, including you!

@crypto_curious
1) you seem to be confused, somehow, by the fact that 2 places you can get information.
does this confusion also apply when you go to fuel your vehicle and you have options as to where you can purchase your fuel?

2) The information on my page and the work page are the exact same information; when you go to my page, it literally gets the information from the work page (so, it can't be different from the work page).

3) You don't have to go to my page, ever; it's merely a work in progress that I started creating to maybe help some folks.

4) My frustration with you comes from the fact that you say 1 thing now and another thing later.
...Can someone clarify?
Did you copy that before we hit the block or at the time you posted?
At the time I posted.
...
There you, literally said you looked at the information after we found a block and we haven't found another block since then; however, now you're saying:
...before block, I've checked that and I thought I am gonna get something from next block. And bang, block happened...

I'm not sure what it is that you expect when you can't communicate what actually happened to/for/with you in a way that tells the same story twice....

If you have to ask "why?", you wouldn`t understand my answer.
Always be on the look out, because you never know when you'll be stalked by hit-men that eat nothing but cream cheese....

You are just picky and pointing my errors claiming I am confusing things. I am not confused here, I've checked my projected earnings BEFORE block and then I posted here AFTER the block, because I was not included in the block. Now I know that I need to check http://ckpool.org/#/work page everytime, so I know if I am on "payment" or "postponed" list, period.
Stop your personal attacks of me saying I would confuse fuel in the car, that's just pathetic. If you getting frustrated by exchanging posts with me just stop.

This, yet again, seems to be you saying something in one post and contradicting yourself in the next post.
All I can say is:
Huh?  Huh

As for "why I respond", the fact remains that your claims are self contradicting and thus confusing to not only those that do understand how this works, it reads in a way that can confuse new miners (an as such, needs to be corrected). It's not a "me vs you" personal "attack", it's simply that I find it frustrating that you confuse yourself, grab a keyboard, type some random words, and confuse newcomers as well.

For the record and clarification for future readers:
You saw that you'd get paid in the next block, we hit a block, and you got paid in that next block.

If you have to ask "why?", you wouldn`t understand my answer.
