I just checked my nicehash wallet balance and it is sadly at zero.  Yesterday it was at .06

Current GPU farm is on backup pool suprnova BTG -- but I may swing this to zpool/Neoscrypt --- both NVIDIA and AMD farms.

If Zpool pay BTC upfront like NH, it can be a good replacement.

What differences about Neoscrypt mining compared to Cryptonite ? I mean in term of power consumption, and settings.

I'm having the same issue with nvOC, so we can rule out smos being the culprit.

https://www.nicehash.com/miner/3HQMKEJT88ZdGLtJAZyRYA6EacknELcbbj

I threw this little table together using dstm stats and some custom commands within nvOC.  Handy reference for the various flavors of current gen nvidia GPUs since I run a mix of just about all of them.  The big looser is the 1050Ti's for sure.

nice info, thanks. i am slowly adding nvdia to my onda rig, so this is a great starting point for me.

Neoscrypt is quite taxing.
Haven't checked Cryptonight on my 5x 1080 rig but it needs 865W from the wall mining Neoscrypt vs 600 mining Lyra2z (and ~800 mining equihash).

Neoscrypt uses more power vs Equihash?

A lot are saying on Twitter nicehash got hacked that’s why they are down

Yeah that does suck if its true, but on the bright side difficulty plummeted on a lot of coins and I'm reaping the rewards  Roll Eyes

I wonder which coins will benefit with Nicehash offline ?

NVIDIA based coins and algos?

Zen got a nice boost for me.

I moved to MHP

mining hub pool.

But I had 18th  pointed to nicehash  for my 3 pack of avalons

and my 3 accounts  had earnings  of  800 dollars total.

I hope they know how to handle properly COLD / HOT wallets ...
Nowadays, after all the hacks already happened, no exchanges or big players like NH should be able to loose big amounts, using Cold wallets the right way.

you have to change the settings to current profitablity and it will not even show any nicehash  coins

Yeah they finally stopped showing it after some time, but it was still up there for at least 6hrs after it was offline.

Now I need to find a new SHA256 pool.  My backup has been kano but I really didn't like the small payments per block.  It made my transaction fees high.

Just go for PPS pools and get those Bitcoins rolling...

I am wondering if PPS earns more than SHA256 multi-coins pools ?

Little update on the D1800 BTC progress, i got it finally to recognize and allocate resources to all 6 x 1080ti's finally, but i think i hit a roadblock on my PSU, i have a 450watt EVGA PSU i picked up cheap around black friday for $9.95 shipped after rebate and apparently it doesnt have enough juice to run more than 4 GPU's, as soon as i start mining with all 6 the PSU shuts off, i tried 5 same thing happened, i even tried running 6 @ 50% tdp as soon as i start mining the computer shuts off instantly as soon as it loads up, but as soon as i disable 2, i can mine with 4 even at 110% tdp without any power issues.... since the real load at that point is on the server PSU

The PSU im using, i am using 2 connectors from each string on the mobo, im guessing im overloading the peripheral power bar possibly...

75 watts per PCI-E bus connection - you're overloading that poor little 450 it would appear, since it's probably also running the CPU/RAM/MB chipset/HD(SSD) stuff.

I'm no longer legendary just in my own mind!
