Hello,
Been mining with the pool last week and I'm already a bit over the .16 that was needed to be placed on the pay queue but says I still need .004 something.  Is there anyway my account on there can be looked into?
Good day.

When your total reaches 0.16777216 you should hit the queue.

Sounds like you are at: 0.16377216 (approximately)

edit: just found a block, you should be in the queue now I bet.

they really have to change this, after a couple of retargets it will take weeks of mining to get to 0.16777216 for someone mining @ 25Gh/s, they have to let miners to chose the minimum payout, and A manual payout request button is a good thing to have as well, imagine mining for few days than decide to sell your miner or just leave, than you are forced to leave your funds here......

If you mine 25gh you will get a payout every 18-20 hours.

Are you pool hopping?

That's going to make for stupidly high transaction fees when they go to spend them.

but what if my choice is to have my funds in my wallet even if it is 0.01 , and what if I decide to quit mining on this pool for any reason ? do I have to give up a week of mining rewards ? this will be so high after a couple of retargets ! automatic payment amount should be a choice not an obligation, if you want to keep it this way than activate free manually  payments each 24 hours.

So you take this personally ? your argument is totally invalid this is not enough, we still need to adjust the minimum automatic payments our selves, and a free manual payment each 24 hour wouldn't heart, it is about what I would like to do with my funds not what works only for you !!! and yes 0.01 is important for me it is a Principe it doesn't matter how much it is 1000 or 0.1 BTC...... I did notice in most your post that you are anti-change or anti-improvements that doesn't come from your side !!!! you have to cut that ego a bit, it is gonna heart you at some point.....

Um, what? I'm not anti-improvements at all, no idea how you could possibly get that idea when I'm directly responsible for some of the biggest improvements...
wizkid057 is making minimum payout configurable, but it takes time; my point was just that your desire for 0.01 BTC payouts is silly.
Manual payouts on demand are pretty much out of the question though. That would mean the server needs a wallet, which creates significant unnecessary security risks.

Not really a direct response to this, but should be noted: I think a lot of people fail to realize that nearly everything regarding Eligius is volunteer work or otherwise donated.  Eligius takes no % of the mined subsidy, and I think every other public pool does take at least some cut at the moment.  There are tons of improvements in the pipelines.  The problem is the lack of time to volunteer, as everyone has other obligations.  Personally, I must first dedicate my time to my full-time employment and my bit of paid contract work (nothing bitcoin related).  I also have a fiance, a very mild social life, and a slew of other real world obligations to attend to, similar to everyone else involved in the pool.  But, I'm always around working on one thing or another, procrastinating helping on IRC, answering the occasional support phone call (when I'm available), and more.

I have been trying to get the user control panel up and running for months now.  I did hunker down and get the panel itself up so that people could get their options saved and get NMC merged mining back in action, even if backend support is incomplete for most of them (as of this writing, only the NMC address for payments and the Nickname fields have any effect).  I'm sorry that its taking longer than anticipated to complete the backend code for these things, but, free time has been pretty scarce lately.  Even my recent vacation from my full-time job ended up being mostly filled with other work.

In any case, I just want to make it clear that Eligius isn't a huge for-profit pool with staff working on it full time.  We do our best to keep everything together and running smoothly and continue to improve at a steady pace, even without cutting into your (the miner's) earnings.  To me, this is one of the main things that makes Eligius the best possible pool to use.  I'm even working on code to fairly distribute transaction fees mined by the pool to miners also, since our original hosting agreement no longer applies, which will ensure that Eligius keeps a competitive edge. (more on this soon).

Thank you to everyone who mines here, everyone who has donated (or even pledged a small donation % in the new control panel that isn't in effect yet), developers who have helped out, etc.  We're steadily growing and I think we have a great thing going here.  Lets keep it up.

-wk

you do not need to take any fee when using CPPSRB, no one is taking any risk here, mostly PPS pools take a big fee, and any way you still make an amount of BTC depending on your luck.....

Hello Everybody,

First of all : Luke Thx for this pool / all the work you are doing and ofcourse praises to WizKid057
Been mining for 2 weeks now and like the pool and the CPPSRB strategy

Now for something i can't seem to get to work.
Ón the My Eligius page i log in with my wallet adres, yadieyadieya.

Change my nickname to what i want. Put in my BTC-e Namecoin adres and i see the line i have to sign with in the form directly below.
I copy the line and paste it with CTRL-V in the empty line and punch in submit.

As i read it can take up to one hour to reflect the changes, but i tried it about 20 times now starting a week ago.
I dont see my chosen nickname , nor do i receive NMC's on my wallet at BTC-e

What am i doing wrong. Is the panel still in beta and not working and do i have to pass my NMC adres and Nickname some other way ?
People are saying namecoin is working and i see some nicknames when i browse to the user statistics . So people are able to pass these things somehow and i'm doning something wrong ;(

I'm mining now with 10Gh but next week or in 2 weeks i will add 1Th and would like the NMC to work and have a nice nickname to reflect my mining 8P

Thx for the help

You need to copy the contents of the first line in to the "Sign Message" box in Bitcoin-QT, then copy the string of characters it produces in to the second line on the Eligius form.

Most of your post makes no sense whatsoever and I'm ashamed I'm once again feeding the troll...

Since what I can make out from your response basically proves you know nothing, I will end this by pointing out that most other pool reward systems are no-risk to the pool also, yet those pools charge a fee. For example, PPLNS carries no pool risk, yet some pools still charge high fees for it. Technically PPS can be no risk because the pool can simply shutdown before actually "risking" anything as history has proven.

Server hardware and hosting/bandwidth are not free regardless of what mining reward system is used.

So stop trolling and wasting everyone's time.
