I've said this before when X11 was brought up for HBN, but I will say it again. There is very little point to changing the PoW algo.  This is a hybrid coin, and eventually PoW will be almost useless, as the difficulty will begin to grow very fast, especially as people actually hold their coins and stake them.

This is not something in my plan to do.  It is counterproductive at best, and wrought with issues if not done perfectly.

Who has control of the OP??  I'll try to get a basic list of important details and links on bottlecaps.org.

I do.  I updated the topic and the pool list.  Let me know what else we need.

Regarding exchanges, you may want to remove Coinex as it is dying and you won't be able to withdraw. Also, I can't open Phenixex. Maybe push for a new exchange.

At this point it seems that the only way people would know CAP is going 200% Annual PoS is for them to dig a few pages back.

When and how should we start promoting the changes being made to CAP? i am sure that once people are made of aware of the 200% interest rate, it will generate new interest in the coin and increase the coins value.

Having said that, great work from everyone involved, I see amazing things coming from CAP.

We should update the OP with a quick update to a post of mine a few back.

Right now I am about 60% done with the code update. Then we can start the hard fork process. I estimate that by Mid July, CAPs will be running very smooth with 200% yearly degrading stake interest. Or ~8% every 15 days start. With 1000 coins max stake reward.

Who has control of the OP??  I'll try to get a basic list of important details and links on bottlecaps.org.

I do.  I updated the topic and the pool list.  Let me know what else we need.

Check this post, seems a few other things need cleaned up.

Agreed if it's moving to stake primarily the PoW aspect will not be worth the risk in the change .

After this wallet focus on the great brand potential and stake interest.

Phenixex was a scam exchange that shut down months ago.  I'll remove it from OP.

Hey Tranz if you're looking for another coin to takeover/resurrect, looks like ARG could use a dev.

ARG would be good. Also consider Frozen. I would love to see FRZ back and with POS.

You think Argentum could have a future? I can setup a pool for it.

We shouldn't shove a bunch of coins for Tranz to work on. He works hard enough as it is. his main project is HBN and he is nice enough to help out with CAPS. He has been involved with other coins as well such as ADT and TEK. There are a million other coins that could use his touch, however we are all human and need to work at our own pace, Tranz included.

Some people panicked over him taking a break from HBN, even though that coin is rock solid and working perfectly fine. Last thing we need is for him to lose focus on CAPS mid-stride of its revival development to work on other coins.

People tend to lose confidence of devs when they run off in a million directions. Its all about quality not quantity. I am sure that if ARG or other coins are worth the time and effort then it will get the attention it deserves in due time.

You're right. He's a hell of a dev. If only we could clone Tranz and fix all these broken coins. One can dream I suppose. Lol

ARG was taken over by Baritus a while back.  You guys might want to head here http://digitalcoin.co/forums/index.php?action=collapse;c=5;sa=expand;db3e051d9fd7=4e4588e5f5e3af6cb6061af02609a4ca#c5

Just for the record I am not looking for more coins to fix..  Undecided  Truthfully I never had any intentions of working on any coins other then HBN. But something lead me to CAPs, not sure what, but I tend to listen to my subconscious.

For everyone who has or will send me PMs(I have 2 right now) asking the same thing about fixing their coins, the answer is most likely no. Those who have helped me know I will help them, and they already know who they are. But for everyone else, sorry I simply can't.

So if I ignore those messages, please don't take it the wrong way, but I can't help.
