Sometimes the comments are more interesting to read than the actual article.

Also look the sockpuppets Kolin uses to defend himself:

"bluemelanie"
"Not Kolin's sockpuppet"
"Cristian Macauley"

Digitalindustry behaves so predictable.....

very amusingly the silvermetal retard has been trolling Quark ever since the original Plan was abandoned to try to fork it by saying "we are devs"

this retard is clearly one of the "lower" trolls most people believe he's hired and paid to post where as the "leaders" of the project may have totally given up?

he's still picking up his paycheck posting on this forum and helping us get attention generally.

Cheers my little backward friend.

The original group work for Banks but as a "private "intel" <(word used very loosely) agency.

When capitalism turns into Oligarchy, just as when Communism turns into a police state, as the central power to Capitalism is private so then do private agencies rise up like so many turds floating to the top of a toilet.

Just very similar to the Turd system in east Germany.  (under the "communist" state before "the wall" fell)

my message to you silvermetal is just keep picking up your check just like the guys in east Germany did, but my message to all you guys is don't exert yourselves too much lest you risk hurting yourselves.

Huh? What language is this? Maybe first edit your post by the editors of coinspeaker, that makes it much more readable. Now it looks like you threaten people at the end of your post. Thanks!

100% agree.

i will remind everyone that this is what any successful crypto has ahead of it, so you guys can learn from our lessons.

http://bravenewcoin.com/price/price-index/

when you remove the more obvious frauds Quark maintains a top 10 position (consistent) , you will start to be attacked like this if you are :

1. a real crypto (Caps and HBN are that)  and can be listed on the PoW+ index

2. you get close to or around Top 20 , top 10 Cap.

i'll also remind people that the "silvermetal" thing posted here first.

What updates do we want to see for 2.3?

I have had a request for Autosavings updates, including custom send address. I can do that.

I was planning on doing the windows safe shutdown, and the combine/split threshold updates, to help keep blocks more manageable.

Obviously the new icons.

Anything else?

Hi Tranz,

So where do we stand? What do you need to be able to program the 2.3 version. If there's anything we can do to help, just let it be known!

Not much, I just need the ability to clone myself. Send one off to work, one to work on crypto and one to keep the kids from killing each other!  Wink

Seriously though I was waiting to see what direction we wanted to go.

It seems like there are a few core updates that are needed. Including updates for Autosavings, auto combine/split updates and a few other small core issues. It also seems we want to go the route of adding the ability to change the skin of the wallet on the fly. I can add this ability, but I still have yet to see one person come forth that wants to or has the knowledge of how to add new skins.

Can anyone does this?

If I just add the code to allow the wallet to switch on the fly, it will be useless unless people add new skins.  Otherwise I do like the new icons and I can update to use them straight up.

I had a bit of time today to peek at the themes in Hyperstake.

From what I can tell the primary icons do not change on the fly from theme to theme.  The actual icons look to be fixed but may be resized on the fly.  These include all the tab heading icons as well as the icons for sent/recieved/mined etc.  So whatever icons Bottlecaps decided upon would be standard across all themes.

The background image, fonts, window/frame shape/size, colours, shading and some of the minor icons (ie checkmarks) are changeable on the fly with themes.  It all looks quite easy to modify via the style.qss file.

At the very minimal you can just change the background image to something you like.  The style.qss file looks to have LOTS of modifiable sections so I'm sure it lets people be as creative as possible should one desire.

Here is a 2 minute quickie test result...simply changing the background and font family...HYP-Fallout.  Lol.

If Themes cannot make it into 2.3 it is not a big deal.  I do think it would be a good addition at some point though as it allows modification and personalization.  Something fun to do with the wallet beside staking.

Nice!

Add me to the waiting list for pipboy skin , was thinking how nice buttons like those on pipboy would be.

Haha funnily enough I was googling the same images today and was just about to post and ask if it's possible to change the size/shape of the UI window as well as the positions of the icons/buttons in the client for changeable skins?

If so we could make a smaller client window like the pipboy skin and change the three lights  Stats/items/Data on the bottom to: Stake, NET(connections), and Data(blockchain update/info) like we currently have in the normal client in the bottom right corner. If not that fallout background pic looks pretty cool Hilux.

It would be nice to have at least 2 skins to change between so people dont have to be stuck with something they don't like. Also have we decided on the icons we are using, by the sounds of it we need one set that will pervade through all skins.

Indeed it was my first post in this thread, but I don't see much difference between the Quark thread and CAPS.
This thread is just like the Quark thread dominated by you and your sockpuppets.
Even the sockpuppets react similar to my posts in the CAP thread as in the Quark thread:
