{ "pools" : [ { "poolname" : "EU", "url" : "stratum+tcp://eu.middlecoin.com:3333", "user" : "x", "pass" : "x" }, { "poolname" : "AMSTEDRDAM", "url" : "stratum+tcp://amsterdam.middlecoin.com:3333", "user" : "x", "pass" : "x" }, thanks, but cgminer still named it pool 0. I only insert the poolname as u mentioned in the config. { "pools" : [ { "poolname" : "amsterdam", "quota" : "50;stratum+tcp://amsterdam.middlecoin.com:3333", "user" : "xxx", "pass" : "x", "pool-priority" : "0" }, try it that way, and also make sure you are running the latest, found here: https://github.com/Kalroth/cgminer-3.7.2-kalroth

I decided to stick with middlecoin for a while because the results last week were decent... And now in my second week... This kinda sucks. Would be making more money mining straight LTC.
It seems like the Middlecoin fanboys have also disappeared and are absent. Normally they would go rabid after a comment like the above. Something is amiss with the last three days payouts, generate very slow on all three ends, exchanged, unexchanged and immature. Nah, as others have said look at wafflepools payouts and then look at coinwarz, nobody is making much of anything the last few days. But we have a mountain of unexchanged. It seems like everyone here just looks at their balance and forgets about everything else Speak for yourself

Unexchanged balance is nothing more then a "predicted amount of BTC according to latest exchange rates". As long as it is not converted to BTC, nothing is sure about the value of unexchanged. It can be a lot higher then expected, but it can also be a lot lower then expected. I'd rather not see my balance stacked in unexchanged, but at the moment the unexchanged (or uncertain) BTC's is about 5 times higher then my actual BTC balance.

I'm at nearly 6BTC mined over the last several months at middlecoin.
Just FYI: my average over the last 14 days at MC (actual paid to my wallet, not unexchanged/immature): 0.016295714 BTC/MH
For comparison:
14 Day Wafflepool average: 0.01116903 BTC/MH
Can't find long-term stats on any other pools to compare to, but I expect the law of averages still favors MC.
That's my experience, too. I've been earning a little less than that pointed at the EU server mostly; is your average for the vanilla middlecoin server?

I think you cannot lose your sent btc if it is not confirmed. resincronize the transactions. Surely you will see your btc again in your wallet. Alternatively check the transaction id on http://blockchain.info/** OFF TOPIC **

The alt coin prices are down guys. That is the main factor on why payouts are lower. Last week at this time, Doge was above 200% profitability compared to LTC.

payouts are low because h2o isnt exchanging a whole bunch. theres a massive amount of "something" (probably DOGE). It looks like he's waiting for the price to go back up, and its been on a downward trend since the last big payout.
it sucks that he dropped the ball by holding, but at what point is enough, enough? And to just exchange the lot for what he can get so we can stop carrying such a huge unexchanged.

if you were under 0.01 by 10:30pm EST (02:30am UTC) then you dont get paid. sucks i know. as i was .00999 and just missed it. went above .01 minutes after payout.

tbh, I rather prefer that h2o does the way he does. I suspect this is why on the long term middlecoin offers larger payouts, consistenty beating cows, waffle, bros, etc.... I'm not going to be the jerk to say "if you don't like it, go somewhere else". But otoh, that's precisely the point, and that's what I do. Other pools mine and dump for the quick gratification, or because users demand so. Let's preserv middlecoin's uniqueness and it's nice payouts as they are, even with the unexchanged delays, and pool hop for the quicker buck if or when we don't like the MC numbers

I'm on eu server. Today payout was similar to me if I were mining LTC. It sucks! Even if doge going down, i must have 120-130 % to ltc... And no unexchanged Looks like h2o have Big problem with exchanging or calculating algoritm
