I've also got the same email but I've requested a refund (haven't received one yet). When I log in at minersource and click at my order # with the finishing A it says that my order was cancelled. So I guess everyone who has got this mail has requested a refund and for logistic reasons they have to go to that process.
I have not requested a refund, and got the email too. |

So the X1 customers that only purchased 1 unit are getting screwed. They will be getting 50% off next purchase. Well its not compensation if you have to PAY for it. Also if customers were to use the 50% off coupon and order another one they would just be throwing good money after bad. Total BS!!

I'm not sure when it changed, but BA's store is now showing both the X1 and X3 as 'in stock'.
Edit: scratch that, second page shows "This is a PRE-ORDER (Batch 2), available for dispatch around 15/05/2014"

3TH at this diff is nothing,not to mention that we need to buy additional PSU..BA can you plsss update final specs and compensate plan before shipping so we can accept the product or request refund rather then sending us whatever you have just to shut our mouths and get rid of your obligatons!

Im pretty sure you get the 50% off only if you ordered through Minersource and you're Batch 1. I ordered through Minersource and im in batch 1. Why should I have to PAY more money to be compensated? And if I was dumb enough to order another one I would NEVER get my money back. So like I said the customers that only ordered 1 X1 are getting screwed. |

If *ANY* units are shipping, shouldn't they have requested pool/wallet info by now for people w/5 day hosting?.
Seems like that's a bit of info that needs to be gathered in advance, but I haven't gotten a mail or request yet.
Also would still like to know if the 5 day is at full power or not, and/or an update on how to get the PS shipped installed in the unit already.
*sigh* just.... so many FAQ 101 things completely left out.

Yes, that let-down is what caused me to cancel my purchase with Minersource and involvement in the DZ group buy. It was a whole lot of bluster about getting something done, then "be patient," "he's tried from traveling," and then eventually no information came from it. As it turns out I may have not been patient enough since there were changes at BA quite a while after, but I see signs of repetition this time. As someone who has traveled internationally before, I know it can be taxing, but not so much that status updates can't be posted. I hope you all get your updates this time and bobsag3 is able to provide something positive, or at least informative, here on the forum or (preferably also) in email to patiently waiting customers who need to be reminded every now and then that someone hasn't just run off with their money. That's the best way to keep customers loyal. |
