A statement from Black Arrow regarding their promise to ship on February 24th 2014:

We've started the design in June. The only difference between us and our competitors is that we do not give unrealistic time frames which we know we cannot meet.
We are confident that we will deliver sooner but we do not make promises that we might not be able to fulfill.
It's now July 2014 and the X3 design is still not complete:

Following a thorough reviewing, the X-3 backplane has been put in production. The first batch will be delivered this weekend. 4 months past the stated shipping date and this thing is still on the drawing board? Oh, and by-the-way "a few days" have already passed. Shipping next week? lol turns out, not everyone can manage a project out there...  I mean, delays in all kinds of projects, IT or otherwise, is nothing new; but there's a certain line that should not be crossed, at least not in a client-facing context like here with MS and their less-than-wonderful Chinese partners over there. If they do (cross that line, that is), they need to compensate accordingly -- and I do not mean any measly 24hr or 1wk hosted "compensation" plans but throwing in a FREE 2nd machine and/or making true order cancellation offers with a full refund. Black Arrow Software is in the top 3 shit companies in Bitcoin world
At this point, best case scenario they're a BFL, worst case scenario they're a Hashfast. Unfortunately supposedly Josh's trolling generated more orders which allowed the BFL Ponzi to slightly perform eventually, in this case BA's combativeness and trolling can't work because it just makes them look like losers compared to a few competitors now. I use the term "competitors" very loosely because those other companies have actually produced a product. Personally I think they are the worst. They had a good marketing message in the beginning and used it to pull one over on people who had been burned elsewhere. They knew what could happen and charged forward anyway - be that incompetency or scaming - either way they earn the #1 place for worst BTC company in my book. At least BFL shipped first generation jalapeno miners to me in time to more than break even with them in fiat, which is what I paid for them (yeah buying BTC with my fiat would have been much better). After that everyone who bothered to do research knew the risk they were taking making an order with BFL's reputation. Hashfast smelled like a company who had no idea what they were getting into from the beginning. |

I think most of the Minersource customers blew their loads on Ant S3s, BTCGarden blades, Dragons, RK boxes, Gridseed blades, zeus blizzards, etc with their refund money. No more pent up jizz for BA, we gots tracking #s and delivery dates to follow. |

If they had good news they would have posted it already. Bobsag has gone silent because he doesn't want to keep feeding BA's lies to his customers and I can't blame him for that. It's hard to believe things can get any worse but their silence tells me it's about to. according to the last official estimates shipping normally should have started this week :/

Any update on this? +1 the worst part is a lot of people here have never doubted them cuz BA and MS themselves know that they are legit that is why they remain zen despite circumstances :/ i would'nt do an analysis on ROI just because not only the hashrate and difficulty either XBT price which are the basic parameters for everyone to calculate an income but each has its plans and expectations and everyone should respect the work and the participation of the third party and vice versa... i still believe |
