WOW That's what I call irony Not much difference,cept that BA is actually shipping & BFL still have at least "2 weeks™",er......2 months Pretty funny when you think about it. I actually was fully refunded by BFL 14 months after the fact. I now await some action here as I have a small amount of usd tied up 650 usd. In the Dz coop round 17. If this x-3 ever ships I could see a small return. maybe 400 or so on the 650. Waiting |

The current difficulty is 16818461371. Starting today using an X3 (2TH/s) means, you can earn round about 3.5 and 4.0 BTC in 2 years, depending on difficulty increasing not higher than 20%. If you need to pay customs for the X3, taxes or power comsumption: GOOD LUCK. |

A "fair" market price for hardware would be around 1.4$/GH at the moment (hardware delivered RIGHT NOW)
Everything higher than that will probably not ROI (if you don´t have 0.05$/kWh).
Are you guys receiving any compensation, or did you effectively buy 2TH at $6K?
You do know that spondoolies 0.4W/GH 0.7$/GH devices will be shipped come August?
Bitmain will ship even sooner, so I for one would get a refund from BA and run.

There is no need to lie to yourself. We all now know that Black Arrow is a Scam company.
Delivery was 24th February 2014 for the X3 (batch 1).
Now it is 29th June 2014 and no delivery of the main product.
In my case, I just got a f.cking PSU, which I can not use. Price: More than 4000 USD.

I think you misunderstand me. Or maybe I should have been more clear. I will write this a different way. If they ever hash for me for my 650 put in I could get back 400. That is a loss of 250, but I still had 400 of the 650 returned. I do not hope for more then 400 of the 650 at this point in time. I hope to have a loss of 250 rather then have a loss of 650. As for basic math it does not apply yet. It can't be applied until the gear is hashing. I spent 650 usd to purchase coins to buy the gear. So my numbers are all in usd. I ordered 200gh. Which has been promised to be at least 300gh. We both know 300gh hashing today does not earn much usd (remember I am all usd ) but if the gear starts to hash July 7th and if btc is at 800usd I will get about 400 usd returned to me. thus a small return and not a profitable one at that. this is really optimistic and get me 400 returned a negative at best. other cases all come out bad. say they give me 500gh vs 300gh that still does not work.  another 500 gh not 300gh but coins stay at 600 usd I get back 470 of 650  |

Except that's not possible. Your only hope for a refund is if you used Minersource as reseller. BA won't refund. The longer it takes to produce a final product, the more BA spends. Unless they've been mining with the x3s already, they likely don't have money for refunds. They've had problems at every step of production, this costs more money that they didn't plan on spending. They've had problems with 5 LCD factories, that probably blew 80% of their total budget. |
