this is a good time to gather all required docs about them and their director. Know their contacts, where they are staying...etc, just in case they run away like N & B

To clear things up. The development of the LTC chip has not been funded by the money of the pre-orders of the prospero miners. It is a project by the engineers which earn a salary.
nicely bundled in with the SHA package though eh? you sir, are telling porky pies.

I really feel for the BA customers...
I was looking at getting an x3 back in December, I heard BA had delivered in the past using other ASIC chips, I felt confident they would actually deliver something but I wasn't confident on BA delivering on time, the delivery date seemed too good to be true, I held off getting in on the early batches until it got to about January, then after hearing the updates and the fact that chip hadn't been finalized and looking into the whole wafer manufacturing process(and comparing where they were at in the process compared to Cointerra and Hashfast at the time), I knew there would be no way they would make the Feb Deadline realistically, so I held off on the BA purchase and got a whole bunch of Ant's instead. i.e. something I knew I could actually get my hands on.
Glad I did in the end, having 6k tied up with a company for 6 months would have driven me insane.
Best wishes all those still believing that you get your ASICs sometime in the next few weeks, my guess is people will start receiving them late/end of may.
Hope you break even.

.....
people want simple answers as to whether or not they are still on schedule for this May 1 date. if you don't have them shut the fuck up and stop acting like a little bitch because your golden goose is shitting all over it's customers. **********
Simple answer is that when they know they will tell you. I'd rather them work on my miner then hop here and provide an update that you will take out of context for which they will need to take time out and reply again.
I could probably make them post 50 updates here daily that would make even me at least 3 hours sitting here adjusting the timeline of the release date. How would that help you? If anything major comes up they would post it, but any analytics of the release date on time frame of +1hr gain with this -2hr loss with this not helping anyone.
They are entering probably the most critical stage right now as if anyone understands logistics of working with multiple vendors and making sure that pieces fall into the right places on time. On top of that there must be a backup plan for everything, parts, vendors anything you can possibly think that could go wrong.
I progressed with BA on quite a few issues regarding refunds, releasing more information and as well as advising on their hosting center.
This is not official BA posting. Just ramblings from my experience in manufacturing.
My experience in Manufacturing (and indeed that for the my experience across the industry as a whole) has been the exact opposite. Any time there's a product like this being produced (especially for the first time) there's going to be a project manager(s) in the mix (although not having one would explain a lot in BA's case) Someone who operates at the 20Kft level who sees where all the pieces come together and holds each party responsible for meeting the deadlines. (In my world this is me many times) Having a punch list of major deliverables that the "ship date" is dependent on, and with a realtime a %complete, target date up/down is already part of the job. Pushing that out to anyone who needs a status update is a business 101 process that takes all of 1 minute to publish. In my case I usually do/can do reporting for projects that are based on milestone, phase, and date (or any combination of the three) Some people want to know when "the next important step" is done no matter when, others want to know when the next group of steps are met, some only want to know what's done by the next due date (which is the route of the BA weekly updates) I have some customers who get a daily update EOB and it takes me little or no time to update this daily (on multiple projects) And I capture down to the "work in seconds" on some projects. If BA couldn't get a detailed update out with some level of certainty about what is/isn't done and if there will/won't be delays on a daily basis, then they shouldn't be in business period. I'm sure they CAN,..it's simply that the weekly format simply allows for a lot of "noise" to cover mistakes, and conversely lets you emphasize anything good that happens through the week as the emphasis for the entire update. But when your biggest problem is a customer sat issue,.. one where "Your lack of communication is abysmal" is the single biggest thing that's been screamed for months,.. to not go the extra mile and KILL people with info, is just another key indicator that while these guys may be smart engineers/designers etc.. they aren't a "good business". This is simply another case of how this forum's perception and portrayal of the time/work related to real world events is hilarious. I saw someone say it took them months to migrate a customer DB a while back in this thread.. *LOL* We've migrated (and repaired) DBs (SQL, Oracle, hell even DB2 DBs with mass corruption (millions of XR entries) all fixed in several days, with only one person working on it part time. A DB noob with access to Google could learn DB admin, fix a med/large cust database, export and import in less than two weeks if they were full time on it.

Hello guys, I dont really know where else I would write. I wrote about 5 letters to support - no response. Wrote to pm to Bobsag3 and Thomas_s - no response. Wrote to their minersource thread about my problem - post deleted. So I am writing here. I asked them for refund, about 2 weeks ago. Everything was actoully fine, the support was communicating with me as usual. Just after I requested a refund, support@minersource.net started to ignore me. They told me, that money should be sent by wire payment to my bank on April 9. Today is April 21. Still haven't received any money. I am really starting to worry now. They are starting to look more and more suspicious, I dont know, atleast it is my opinion. Who else have requested refunds for prospero x-3? Can you also can't get responses from support@minersource.net? Have you received your refund?

I'm not defending minersource but they would be in the same boat as us we order from them they then send those orders to BA with payment so for us to get a refund of minersource they most likely have to get one from BA, just my thought on the possible delays in refunds.

My account at Minersource.net is now migrated, but my account says "no orders placed". I ordered from them in December. Anyone else in this boat?

I think everyone needs to calm down, we have 8 WHOLE DAYS before shipping starts. Thats more than enough time for everything to fall into place, I mean sure they don't have a working prototype but who does a week before shipping. I think it's just best for all of us to not question Black Arrow and we should just sit back and watch the clock tick. Until they have failed us by not making a shipping date we should give them the benefit of the doubt, it's not like they wouldn't tell us if they weren't going to make it.

Have you by any chance been living under a rock or on Mars they already failed all of there customers once, so I don't think they really deserve the benefit of the doubt.

Pretty sure kingcolex was being sarcastic. As for the working prototype, I think they mentioned "hashboard" in the most recent update so I'm assuming that's the working prototype. May is almost here, so we'll see what BA has in store for it's customers.

If David (or anyone else is interested) I will bet .5 bitcoins that nothing will ship on the 1st of May, care to put your money where your mouth is? Of course we will use escrow.
BA doesn't gamble with it's own money. Here's the wager structure: You send 0.5 BTC The End Yes they do, they took customer funds and left them in bitcoin instead of cashing them out to pay for expenses to try and play the market. EDIT: Although since they seem pretty confident in this deadline, I should probably get odds to something like .5 bitcoins from me and they put up an X-3 unit, that would be fair IMHO. EDIT 2: The very first X-3 unit off of the assembly line So that's December 2020 then for the first X3 lol

This is slightly off topic but I wanted to order an X-1 from minersouce.net however. Am I the only one that noticed they do not offer an SSL connection. It is only http. Is there another vendor that is security conscious for their consumers.
