well if that is the best way to mount them,  then they should have included feet to add stability to them imagine a couple side by side one topples now you have a expensive domino set.

If the temp output is falseified then on the datasheet of the chip there should be no mention of a sensor output and range

Maybe not falsified but only (on the webpages) 20C Steps only.. which is as useless as possible and may as well be guessing :-)

Just found it.....

Temp_hys_window

Temperature hysteresis window select
1:40℃ hysteresis window
0:20℃ hysteresis window

So I presume (I may be wrong)  from this it can only give a temperate in intervals of 20C (or 40C)... ?

@ LennonNZ: You were right! I had to update first to 1.4. Then it showed me the 1.6.
All done with no Problem, as you sayed.

Only Change I see is the "HZ" butten on the left side where the Name of the miner is. Beside that Idk.

Question: What have y'all set the HZ to ?? Mine is set to 1100 and it's more or less stable 100-120 Gh/s

I think you have to update to 1.4 before you upgrade to 1.6.

I have done both with no problems. What changes where made.. NO idea.. no one has said..

Details of software updates are here.

Bitcoin Difficulty:   18,736,441,558
Estimated Next Difficulty:   19,955,438,046 (+6.51%)
Adjust time:   After 1945 Blocks, About 13.8 days
Hashrate(?):   130,461,989 GH/s

6.5% increase in difficulty aren't a lot compared to the past. I really didn't think we'd see numbers that low ever again.

I should have gotten into Bitcoin back in 1992...

I cant get my software to update beyond version v1.0v.

I have a 2nd unit that is on software version v1.6.

Any idea how to fix the software on the first box so it can update? I have tried 20 + times.

Stuart from LogicEthos has a good guide for it here:
http://ecointalk.net/topic/1159-software-version/

Have you tried power cycling the unit after you click the software update button? I have found that that can sometime get the update to "Stick" so to speak. I am currently working with them on a way to create a USB flash drive for restoring/updating the software directly.

I have jumped through all the normal hoops. This is one of the very early units so I am guessing there is some code oddness there. My newer unit is now running 1.7 without issue.

As an aside, the box is hashing just fine.
