If the tapeout is on February 20th, where does that put us? When can we realistically start mining? I know setting a concrete date is hard, but any estimate could help us investors decide if a refund is the better option or if we should hold on to our shares tremendous job so far! I think the realistic estimate is "beginning of May" from what I've heard. That would seem like a reasonable estimate if tapeout happens soonish, from what I understand. Not that I know that much about hardware development. ;-) Anyway, I'm sticking in with my 6 shares. #yolo ;-)

They have also offered 25% of minion chip hash power hosted for four months as compensation. With other mining pre-orders being sold out/closed now, it's left me in a dilemma on refunds, as there really is nowhere left to re-invest any refund that makes sense as a BTC mining investment, with possible exception of Antminer S1's. So I think i'm going to hold. I must confess I am both pleased and confused with bobsag3 offering a refund. As a reseller, I would of thought it's in your interests to open up the shares of whoever wants a refund to anyone that wants in. Surely the way you are doing it is killing your order book and therefore profits, so I have to ask why???

Well, one explanation could be that the BTC rate is low right now compared to late november early december, therefor if the BTC was converted into fiat back then, then will it not hurt that much to refund. Even though we all love bitcoins, operating expenses are still paid in fiat, therefor is a instant conversion to fiat are the most safe thing to do. (I am just speculating)

I have to agree. The DZ guys seem to be professional and trustworthy!
My days of speculating on hardware that may or may not exist are over, no more pre orders for me.
Here's hoping the Neptunes come through for us.
From all of us: Thanks! I'm feeling like Bitmain and KnC are the only ones to be trusted to deliver new hardware (even if KnC hardware itself has been problematic for us). That, and maybe AM when their next Gen arrives.

Is there a deadline for the refund requests? would it be february 24th? because I am still on the fence about it.
Thanks again for the great work and it's a shame things worked out like this.

Refund requested for 5 shares as per original post above with refund to be sent to the same address.
I am also requesting a refund of my Minersource X-1 purchase (order #955). My order no longer appears in your system due to the database migration. Please advise if I need to request this refund through the Minersource website.
Next batch of refunds has been sent.
I haven't received a PM or a refund re R17x yet. Are you still working through them? What's the deal with Minersource X-1 purchases? Whilst I requested a refund here I'm still uncertain if I want to hold out on them or not. Probably not the best thread to ask in but I'm sure others would appreciate seeing the answer.

I request a refund for my last two orders. I opened a ticket on the archived site. Order #1468 and order #1355 for a total of 23 shares of GB17.
My bitcoin address is: 1J8pTN6hznZYuH7JdXCziBFDGadP6ZiqRp
I can take paypal if that is easier. Thanks, danleuthner

I think they will not issue the refund because they are scamming us. I sent a refund request 2 weeks ago. thomas_s never replied.

I'm not sure why people are messaging me with refund requests they must all go to bobsag3 's PM's, emails / support tickets / PM's to me will not be responded to.
As I'm not doing refunds I don't think bobsag3 is reading over the posts for refund requests as his post said to PM him with your order details.
Also 2 weeks ago refunds weren't being issued.

I just want to say to people who are starting to say "scam", that I did receive my refund from bogsag3 without any problems.
I send bogsag3 a PM with: - order numbers - payment amount for each order - the registered bitcoin adr - signed message of proff that i control the adr.
So far has thomas_s, bobsag3 and DZ acted both trustworthy and professional.

To be sure, are refunds are being done for the direct BTC value that was payed for the share? Or the adjusted BTC price for current market value of BTC?
This is good to clarify to make sure there is no confusion....
