Criminals and Bitcoin

All business has the good side and bad side.I consider bitcoin and criminals there is no connection.bitcoin is not criminals is just a digital currency.it is just an device for everybody who wants to get money.

Bitcoin has been used in many illegalities even before it became popular to the ears of many. I'm not really sure about this information but I watch somewhere on Youtube, that Bitcoin is being used on a web that is outside the normal web. It's inappropriate to discuss it here but Bitcoin was used and maybe still being used for illegal transactions. What we must do is to live our normal life and always keep ourselves safe as well as our funds.

Money and assets always attract the criminal. But in digital world criminal can not do much. Bitcoin is an asset that can not be stolen. Criminal can cause some problem in market values but bitcoin will remain same. But outer world we should be safe because like South Africa any where can happen. So our money we have to protect.

I have seen some news regarding hackers, terrorists, and other criminals using bitcoin for illegal trades.
How the police can find about these transactions?
Even if is hard to track illegal transactions, I don't think that Bitcoin can be a danger to society, since the problem is the society and its people.
Since the beginning of the internet this is happening ( the bad people committing crimes)  and no one is willing to shutdown internet because of that, so in that matters Bitcoin should be equivalent. I think those illegal transaction are one of the reasons some governments and the media are trying to depreciate bitcoin, but the problem is not Crypto/blockchain or Bitcoin, is just the society.

Yes just because of some humanity that having bad intentions the problem so many hackers and bad people who favor with this kind of inventions bitcoin is anonymous and easy which is favorite among criminal that why bitcoin is not an issue the human itself.

Bitcoin should not be associated with criminals or criminality. Criminals and criminality already existed many years ago before the bitcoin has even been created. I think it is just so unfair to connect these two very different things. Bitcoin is created for the goodness of the people and criminals are here to ruin these good things.

back again to the beginning before there is Bitcoin and we take the example for firearms like Pistol.

guns are created for the police as a precaution against terrorists or criminals. but Pistols are also used by criminals to commit crimes to the public.

just like Bitcoin, Bitcoin is created to protect users anonymously and Bitcoin is used by criminals to use crimes against the public.

so do not blame Bitcoin but wrong his villain.

I don't see anything wrong with criminals using Bitcoin. We can't avoid it. Cryptocurrencies and even fiats are used for illegal purposes such as selling and buying drugs. It is impossible to get rid of such transactions completely. We should not blame and ban Bitcoin only because of that. Many people don't understand it and they try to blame Bitcoin all the time. There are many other cryptocurrencies which are more anonymous than Bitcoin and they are used illegally now.

We do not like to admit it, but we must recognize that the bitcoin for its anonymity and for not being a state currency is very suitable for criminal use. But it is up to the law to combat the criminal uses of an instrument while protecting legal uses.

reality wise bitcoin is a currency from the internet so we can't avoid things to happen, it will be attached with things that used money, they can easily
deal their evil acts and enjoy getting money in an instant form, its not new anyway.

it is not possible if bitcoin has nothing to do with criminals. which is online there must be a criminal but it is online criminals / hackers. hackers will easily steal our money if we are careless and not alert. but now many people lose their bitcoin not because it was stolen but forgot their wallet account.

Bitcoin is created as an online payment system, just like its offline counterpart, the fiat, and both can be use in illegal activities. Monitoring the various illegal online activities of cybercriminals will be nightmare to the anti cybercrime groups because there still no effective ways to track and capture these cybergangs which seems to be untouchables. To curb these illegal activities some governments are resorted to banning the cryptocurrencies in their areas or imposed a strict regulation on the crypto exchanges that operating in their countries.

our country the people involved in Bitcoin are considered criminals because our government bans the virtual currency from being present in the national economy,there are a lot of people being arrested but They still participate in Bitcoin after being released.then hoped bitcoin related person don't leave  btc.

It is true that in many countries with slow growth economies, bitcoin is considered a currency that can cause significant crises so bitcoin may be omitted in some of these countries but I am sure the nation's economic growth will grow well so that all residents can feel comfortable using bitcoin.

Yes you were right with or without bitcoin crimes were always there..even before bitcoin exist..  Its not bitcoins fault even without internet criminals can still do some illegal job. Fiat were also use to transact illegally so why blame only the bitcoin.. if they would shut down bitcoin they should shut down internet. Bitcoin just like any other currency had its negativity but why not focus on positive side right? Its for the welfare of the people.
