What types of commerce sites could we target, first, for payment acceptance?

books, toys, everyday items, etc.?

Non-profit donation acceptance, maybe :-)

Get greenpeace to accept earthcoins as donation, work on multiple ways for the average joe to gain some eac's, pay for facebook and twitter reply's.
Run some adwords / reddit / FB ads targeting people with real interest in helping nature.

2 main points:
1. get green industries and non-profits to consider this coin
2. improve accessibility and obtainability of the coin.

... and the coin is settled :-)

Also start blogging about green stuff, not just tech stuff :-)

Fantastic ideas grimrog! Green organizations are a perfect fit for "Earthcoin". I think an EAC giveaway to green non-profits would generate a ton of publicity for Earthcoin.

Since we agreed to merge the EU forums with bitcointalk.org i have modified the site "earthcoin.eu" to be more of a collector of useful news and threads
that might interest the earthcoin community. I have just grabbed a few things from facebook, bitcointalk and earthcointalk for now.
But I need your help to gather information to be able to keep up with everything that´s happening around earthcoin right now.

There´s a "news tip" link where you can send me stuff to put up there and hopefully i´ll be able to get it online within a couple of hours at least.

The site should also be pretty scalable if you want to use mobile, tablets or whatever.

ofcourse 90% of all ppl here think like that, because not everywhere on the globe people accept each other. i dont care if 5 rednecks argue against me. it is my pov and why should i give it up?

i understand that e.g. there is kinda melting pot in the us and in other english-speaking nations where all cultures are in one society but here it is not the case.

too many people just look down on others and behave like liberate good people but are full of flippancy.

the reactions here were quit interesting btw... lots of insults, lots of unimportant opinions... weather aec will succeed or not -for most of the people this is just a fast-investment and that should not be -therefor i wasnt happy about the picture and my opinion about earthcoins sphere of influence

i wont answer to any further comments but concentrate on eac from now on...

Ok, I'm a bit hesitant to admit this because I don't want to make promises that I can't deliver on and I don't want to raise people's hopes, but...

I work for a middle-ranking, fairly significant green awareness group based in the UK, but with international connections - I write for them on their website. I'm pretty sure that I could get an article published on the site about Earthcoin as long as there is a significant green angle to it.

Secondly, I have an idea that may enable EAC to make immediate, tangible and measurable benefits to planet Earth (that's the idea, isn't it?) - something no crypto currency has done so far.

I don't want to give too much away, perhaps if someone from higher up the EAC food chain could pm me?
