With 4 players colluding you already know 16/52 cards in omaha, which makes plo much more
attractive for colluders than holdem games  Grin

Plus the pot-limit structure makes it easier to actually exploit this information by whipsawing a player in between colluders.

For those that remember I complained about not being able to log back into the account after the DDOS attack. I hassled Micon, Freemoney and posted on the forum.

The seals support team got in touch recently, apologized for the delay and were very courteous. The issue has now been resolved and all is good.

I spent close to five hours here posting about the complaint. Mainly due to the posting limitation (360). I was tempted to donate and become a full member.

easiest way to deal with ratholers is to increase min buyin to 50bbs

I think you confuse "ratholers" with "shortstackers".

well the shortstackers are the ones who double up and leave immediately, so same thing.

Hi GambitBTC.  I find it's best to be calm in situations like this.  If any loyal SwC player finds something they feel is a security concern, we ask they please bring it directly to us, via support@sealswithclubs.eu email.    Posting something publicly in lobby chat is not very responsible disclosure IMO.

It is important to note that while SwC had humble beginnings, the software that now runs the site has been improved dramatically and will continue to be improved over time.  Players can expect new features like late registration in just a few months.  I wish all other legitimate bitcoin gambling sites well, it is a brand new space and I think both experimentation & competition are good things.  They make everyone play their best IMO.

Big reason I like playing on seals was that didn't have late registration. Late registration benefits no one except a site meeting guarantees .  I can see maybe a 30 minute late reg for specific tourneys like bigbtc and Saturday 4.2 guarantee,  but sites that have 1 and 2 hour late reg  for every guarantee doesn't do anything from the players perspective except ruin the tourneys.

Kind of feel that having option of  raising buyins in ring to say  50 or 60big blinds   when opening ring  games for players wanting that option is more important to players playing ring then late reg. Having 3 people at a six seat ring buying in for 20 big blinds really ruins the  ring games.  The short stacking and leaving and coming back with new names to avoid  ratholling time limits really wasn't that bad or noticeable until the past couple of months. Should be an easy fix I would think.

Hmm but you still snagged my tip from the chat and fixed it right Micon? I only posted it in chat because i knew u and doctorhuh were on.

So pretty much what your saying is since i didn't email it to you, but still relayed my message in an obviously valid way, that i don't deserve any sort of thank you for it or anything?

Makes sense....

That is a logical fallacy known as a "strawman" where you rephrase what I just said in a much weaker form, easily attacking it.

1)  I am not privy to the exact issue, only your communication method (lobby chat)

2)  because the issue you brought does seem to be helpful, you have my sincere thanks.

3)  I will also snap off an FFF later and drop you a free code if you'd like.

thanks again.

Im traveling a bit atm so not sure what this bug is about.  But as someone who made an overview of bug BTC bounty programs (see signature), public disclosure is always a very bad thing. And will not get any reward in any official program.

If someone wants to pay the same buyin as I did but receive 5-10% of the BBs that I got, that benefits me (assuming the tournament isn't overlayed).
