    It happens that we are did not expect. We are expect that the greater occurrence of LTC ASIC, miners pass on vertcoin. However, people with LTC crossed on the X11 coin due to less power consumption. Urgently need a way to reduce energy consumption. How, I do not know. Probably a some economical algorithm. X11 uses a lot less electricity than Scrypt N. Hashrate is in constant decline, the number of miners  is all less.

any miner knows once you go x11 or x13 you don't go back it just works nicer on a gpu and many care about that, sad to see the price going down but that is the main reason less miners

^not true. I mined a bunch of x11 pump and dumps, and now I've come back home to vert for the past 6 weeks or so, even with my miners in a texas garage with no air conditioning. I think a lot of miners sense that x11 is already being fpga mined, or if not that, someone has even more optimized miner that is fully utilizing gpu (i.e. running hot), and you are bringing a knife to gun fight with your sgminer/gpu.

x11 mining was always in dark area , first under-performing mining software , I was having 2.2 MH on 280x , then after new software release , speed rose to 3.4MH and now it is 4.3+MH . So there were always optimized miners which were being used in the background .

it is always the question what might be more important for the success... Is it the algo or is it the adoption of the whole ecosystem?

miners mine to dump and not to use the coin.

But it seems the scrypt-n won't have any chance in the future so it is great that the dev team is about to switch...

a nice example for the positive effect on switching the algo is "Karmacoin".

I am a bit sad that we might see the 0.0005 threshold soon, so be prepared... before the technical changes come to work.

That's the problem because finally we gonna open source, and then other coins will copy our code without giving credit or change name from Stealth Address to StealthSend or whatever name. At that time, investors will think those coins have active devs, and short time implementing the feature. As a result, Vertcoin value will decrease although we released the new features first.

So, after you reading, please help us doing whatever you can to help other people know we are the first coin who implement Stealth Address, and how good is it when comparing with other coins. I think it is only way to increase Vertcoin value, and attract future investors.

Im still mining there, believing that I'm doing some good to VTC. But payments are rare and I'm receiving half of what I was supposed to.
