You be calling the cops on a virtual office. That is most likely the office of their registered agent. If it was possible for someone to get to a actual person they would have done it.

@jamesweb6
Were the BTC withdrawn from poloniex or you see it just on blockchain?

You do realize how Poloniex, and almost any other exchange works?  They give you an address, you deposit to that address, once they see the deposit, and it's confirmed they move the coins to their warm/cold wallet, and credit your account.  Your coins never stay on your address.  And technically, it's not really your address since you do not hold the private key.

So did they just never credit your account for that deposit?   Have you heard back from their support?   If that is your poloniex address, then you have the proof it was send, and received.

Is anyone else having trouble canceling loan offers in the Lending tab? I've submitted a ticket for it, but would be helpful to know whether others are experiencing the same problem.

I know things must be busy for them, let's hope they can safely get on top of the situation soon.

Did you try closing your browser completely (including process notification area if chrome) and trying again, I had some problems like that in the past and a browser reboot worked for me

Also, sometimes I've noticed that the loan was taken before it disappears from the Open Loans and if I try to cancel it, it is too late and after a short while it appears to active loans -section with some interest accured.

---

I find the best way to solve the issue to refrain from using auto-renew and manually setting loans to the markets when there is bitcoins available.

Thanks guys; unfortunately these suggestions are not working. I try restarting the browser, etc., and that did not fix it. I'm not using Auto-renew, and it doesn't matter whether the loan offers are being made by a lending bot or manually, NOTHING is canceling. The only way to "process" the loan offers is to have them taken up by a borrower.

I've got a 5% loan offer on some LTC (set by a lending bot, my intent being to cancel out for a trade once the old loan ended) that I can't cancel. But I've been testing things with a steady flow of small BTC loans as other loans are ending and nothing can be canceled right now once set.

Poloniex responded quickly to the ticket which was a surprise - unfortunately they completely misread it and thought I was asking to cancel an existing loan. :-(

Strange, to me this has never happened like this...
The only issue I had with lending was the loans were overdue like 1-2 months ago but they solved the issue within 6 hours or so.

Soon they should be improving the overall user experience as the trollbox staff is assisting the support staff.

ebliever : I'm almost never cancelling offers so I can't help you there.

However you should simply reconfigure your bot to not lend LTC until you get your coins back.

Trade fiat (un-backed) cryptos instead? Since all you do is keep your coins on exchanges and try to trade them to make money, why does it matter wether they actually exist, or if you can withdraw them or not? Spend your life kissing your wife or hugging your kids instead. If you get worked up about money, or funny-money like crypto currencies, you are just losing... Exchanges are bound to screw you over, just as your wallets on your computer are bound to get hacked and stolen from, just like your bank is bound to put you in debt. Only when you have lost everything can you win.

I lost some at cryptsy last year. Who cares. We are all equally involved (although I got really mad at that time^^)

What these exchanges do wrong is they let people get away too easily with keeping their shit on their servers. They should tax our asses for out-sourcing responsibility over our assets to them.

Well poloniex offers a lending service, clearly pushing people to let their coins there.

I want to deposit ETH but the address generation is stuck at "Generating...", anyone experiencing this ?

If you put your ticket number here:
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1976292.new#new

Maybe i can see how much time our tickets will have to wait.

Not a mathematics science...just a curiosity
