i was sell 310 coins at 200$  I believe Dash price will rise again at the end of this September. Why? Some big announcments coming or you just expect because of new ASICS x11? But first it needs to find good support.  |

New Dash Core wallet (v12.2) released to mainet AND the first piece of Evo will hit testnet in September. Check out the roadmap linked a few posts above. |

There is no reason for Dash to implement segwit right now, there are certain risks with segwit (which i imagine is why Bitcoin Cash has not implemented it) and it is a very temporary method of getting some breathing space for a cryptocurrency which has to deal with full blocks. Dash does not have full blocks anyways, Dash blocks are rarely totally full. InstantSend enables Dash to have its transactions confirmed instantly and also locked to prevent double spending. It is an optional choise for users and there are some additional fees involved. It does not really relate to segwit, i think. |

Segwit is only creating an extented block (the segrated witness) to remove data (transactions signatures) from the orignal block to free some space. It has nothing to do with the speed of a transaction. Dash Instasend use the masternode network to validate 6 confirmations presto (in a matter of seconds) based on a quorum. Frankly, segwit is a weird tweak to increase the blockchain size without increasing the 1MB minable blocksize. |

Where do you get information about these announcements ? The only information so far is what is written in the roadmap. I am sure more details will be released closer to launch. After all, a September release could mean 9/30 which would put us over a month away. |

Finally Dash is being appreciated by the market. This is totally surprising for some people who were not connected to this thread but it was obvious to happen after all. I like after quick rise market made small correction to stabilize the floor before keep advancing to skies. Dash is good hedge against volatility happening in many markets right now.

Why would it? Lightning Network is a fudge that's only going to defer the scaling problem temporarily by bastardising the blockchain product into an off-chain settlement layer.. Technical and economic disadvantages of this aside, f you have to send transactions off the blockchain you're no longer using blockchain. Dash InstantSend is fully on-chain double-spend-proofed instant confirmations. With Evolution, Dash will be able to scale on-chain to mass-market level transaction capacity, with instant confirmations available for TX fees that will be even tinier than they are now. |
