Blockstream Dev Says Bitcoin "Fees Will Rise," Dash Is Committed to Low Fees

A developer for prominent blockchain corporation Blockstream has come out saying that Bitcoin fees will continue to rise. Meanwhile, Dash has a long-term on-chain scaling plan to maintain very low fees.

In a short but somber piece titled Dear Bitcoin: I’m Sorry, Fees Will Rise, Blockstream developer Rusty Russell paints a dark picture for the world’s first great cryptocurrency. He praises the benefit of a decentralized payment system, but insists it will never scale, saying that “Bitcoin fees are only going to rise from now on. Plan on it.”

Can you provide me with some compelling information ?

This roadmap shows what the Dash project team is working on.
https://www.dash.org/forum/threads/official-dash-roadmap-version-2-1-1-delivery-milestones.15515/

The team is working on scaling up the Dash network, making it user friendly and then scale it out to be usable for half a million daily users within a year.
For the long time holders, the excitement is about to begin.  Cool

Masternode.me Trusted Masternode Shares Review

Dash masternodes allow users to stake 1,000 Dash and make recurring income in exchange for helping run the network. While in the future users will be able to stake smaller amounts, this feature is currently unavailable at the protocol level. Services like Masternode.me, run by legendary Dash Core member Moocowmoo, offer trusted shares, where the service will hold user funds and use them to make masternodes, giving back a proportion of the node’s earnings to users.

Thank for information.

Integrated Distributed Ledgers
A whole world of different blockchains living together in a single network based on DAG. No more gates, bridges, portals or special nodes connecting blockchains into a single whole. Only one p2p network, consisting of blockchains of various types: from private for state and corporate networks to public for crypto projects.

What is the Worst Scamcoin?

If you’re involved in the cryptocurrency world for even a few minutes you’ll quickly hear the word “scamcoin” (or its rougher cousin “shitcoin”). Anytime a new coin is launched, some Reddit warrior or forum crusader will declare the coin a scamcoin, then sit back, satisfied he’s enacted Internet justice. Even after a coin has been around for a long time and proven it has staying power (*cough* Dash *cough*) brigades may still command anyone who will listen—and even to mom upstairs—to avoid this “scamcoin.” It’s almost a rite of passage in the crypto world.

But what actually is a “scamcoin?” Essentially, a scamcoin is a currency that enriches those who create or maintain it, while impoverishing those who hold it. For example, say I were to create a new coin, creatively named “Scamcoin.” I set aside one million Scamcoins for myself, then I release it to the world. I pump its value via creative marketing and false claims, making each Scamcoin worth $1. I then dump it, cashing out a cool $1 million, and end all association with Scamcoin. I, as the creator, was enriched, but the suckers who wanted to use the coin are left with a worthless token.

Oh great! Scams are ok now? Sounds like typical Dasher's hair-spitting to me.

Since this isn't Reddit,  I guess this would be a forum crusader?

Eugenia Alcalá Sucre on Dash’s Adoption Challenges in Venezuela

Venezuela is currently undergoing civil and economic turmoil, including a recent controversial election. Notably, the value of the bolivar has devalued to the point where World of Warcraft gold is worth more. Despite (or because of) this, there is a small but committed cryptocurrency scene in the country, including CryptoBuyer, an exchange that lets users buy Dash for bolivares.

Recently, the Dash Caracas outreach group started a proposal to fund a series of Dash conferences in Venezuela in order to increase awareness and adoption for digital currency. Dash Force News spoke with Eugenia Alcalá Sucre, founder of Dash Caracas, on the state of cryptocurrency in Venezuela.
