Ethereum and all its ICOs are 100% premined. Ripple is 100% premined. I don't think the market really cares about the premine/instamine narrative, TBH.

Dash surged to new all-time highs this week on high trading volume from Asia and following announcements for long-term mass-market scaling.

Late Wednesday and early Thursday the Dash market price rose to unprecedented levels, topping out at about $228 early Thursday, with a market cap of about $1.68 billion. At time of writing the price remains solidly above $200.

A spike in cryptocurrency interest and trading from Asia

Much of the increase in interest in Dash comes from a rise in Asian trading. Of the nearly $130 million 24-hour trading volume, over half can be traced to exchanges in Korea and China. Korea-based Bithumb alone, which recently recovered from a hack, accounts for over $30 million.

I have decided to rework the meetup contest this month to focus on merchant adoption. The original contest will remain in place but I’m going to add two more main options. The first one is a basic once or twice a month meetup starter option, the second one is a more advanced meetup which will help jump start merchant adoption.


Basic Weekly/Monthly Meetup Program:  .5 Dash

If you want to earn some Dash for hosting a small weekly/monthly meetup it’s easy. All you need is yourself and at least two new people. Host the meetup and give away $10 in Dash to everyone who attends and installs/has a Dash wallet. Then simply provide us with the location, time of the weekly/Monthly meetup and 2-3 pictures showing at least 2 people with a $10 transaction. The prize for this month is .5 Dash!
*Limit 2 per month, if you are going to be doing more than 2 a month I would encourage you to check out our other meetup options as they would be more suited to that situation.

 


Advanced Merchant Adoption meetup program: 2 Dash

For this meetup you will need to organize at least a 5 person meetup plus yourself. Then find a business willing to accept Dash and host your meetup there. You will give away $10 in Dash to the First 10 people who attend and setup wallets, then encouraged them to enjoy themselves and spend some of that Dash at the business you on-boarded.
If you have under 10 people attend you will win 2 Dash.
If you get 10 or more people to attend you will receive a .50 Dash bonus!
If you have more than 20 attend you will receive a 1 Dash bonus!

   Are there any guides to setting up meetings, and for merchant adoption?  Things like where to download the wallets, planning the meetup etc,  Also explaining to merchants and how to set them up to accept DASH.

Is there any additional hardware they need?  How do they set it up so they can accept dash and instantly convert it to fiat.  (most are not going to want to hold all proceeds in DASH).  Also is there any problems with the price float?  If they charge .01 dash for a coffee, is that $2.11 or $1.89.  And how do you charge sale tax on it? 
 
    If this is all explained somewhere, fantastic, if not, it's something we should have, it would make organizing these meet ups a little easier...

Bitcoin and etherium reached a peak at this stage, they will not grow during the year, but in litecoin, dash and etc the power reserve x10 to the capitalization level of the etherium

I still feel DASH has maybe the strongest overall PoW offer out there. If Evolution comes through, that's a step up in an order of magnitude. I personally expect to see DASH dethrone Litecoin within 12 months. I watched coinmarketcap, and saw all these crazy altcoin pumps, with things like NEM flying while DASH languished on $90 odd. I thought, "this makes no sense", and it didn't, I think DASH's recent move up is just the beginning for this cycle up.

A Florida-based network of Bitcoin ATMs has added Dash functionality, doubling the global listed active Dash ATM count.

ByteFederal, which operates a network of cryptocurrency ATMs across Florida, enabled Dash on all 8 of its ATMs. This was reportedly done as a result of advice from the Dash Aerosports team, an airshow and aerobatic racing team funded by the Dash masternodes.
