Bitcoin Cash vs. Dash: Which Will Fulfill Satoshi’s Vision? For months now, August 1st has loomed large in the Bitcoin world. It’s like a crypto version of Y2K: Will Bitcoin fork? If so, into how many chains? Which chain(s) will survive? Will Bitcoin itself survive the potential chaos and confusion?
When the Segwit2x agreement locked in recently, many fears were relieved and observers felt that the crisis was over…or at least delayed. However, one of the potential forks—Bitcoin Cash—has announced that, regardless of Segwit2x being locked in, it will fork nonetheless on August 1st.

Dash AeroSports Debuts “Dash Force Once” Air Racer Dash Force now has its own aircraft, thanks to the masternode-funded Dash AeroSports. A promotional project funded by the masternode network, Dash AeroSports released its new air racer. Named “Dash Force One,” the aircraft is exclusively covered with Dash branding. Notably, its name is a reference to Dash Force, and the Dash Force News logo and website URL are prominently featured on the aircraft’s tail:... https://www.dashforcenews.com/dash-aerosports-debuts-dash-force-air-racer/

Bittrex Adds USDT-Dash Trading Pair - Dash Force News Cryptocurrency exchange Bittrex announced a new USDT-Dash trading pair, further increasing options to buy Dash.
Bittrex recently added a trading pair between Dash and Tether, a cryptocurrency pegged to the US dollar and backed by dollar reserves. Though not a direct way to purchase with fiat currency, the USDT trading pair still allows purchase for US dollar value, and to purchase Dash without first going through Bitcoin.
Bittrex co-founder Richie Lai announced several new trading pairs via Twitter:

HBPay Dash POS Beta System Review - Dash Force News HBPay – Dash Point-of-Sale (POS) system was designed for use with food trucks. But it can be used with any type of products. HBPay seems good for any small vendor looking for a mobile application where you have access to internet. This short video shows how the system works.
HBPay consists of a server component that handles the backend registration, store setup and wallet processing and a store display device (android tablet) to use as the actual POS unit. Customers use their mobile wallets to make payments in Dash.

Coinomi Ceases Updates on Upcoming Monero Integration, Cites Community FrictionCoinomi has announced that they will no longer provide any updates on the pending Monero integration, citing issues with more hostile elements of the community. Multicoin wallet provider Coinomi began working on integrating support for Monero into their platform in late 2016. Since then, several updates have been issued while the project has taken longer than initially anticipated. This week, Coinomi published a blog post stating that they would no longer be giving updates on the future integration: https://www.dashforcenews.com/coinomi-ceases-updates-on-upcoming-monero-integration-cites-community-friction/

On Wednesday, Bitcoin clocked in at a low of $2,450 and a market cap of about $40 billion. Since then, the price is once again over $2,800 and the market cap past $46 billion and a 24-hour trading volume of $1.3 billion, comprising nearly half of the combined cryptocurrency trading volume. Why the Crypto World Is a A Loud, Hostile PlaceBitcoin’s scaling fight. Monero trolls. “My coin is better than your coin” fights. Dragon’s Dens. Anyone who’s been around the world of digital currency for at least a few months, at some point a realization hits your square in the face: this place is full of loud and hostile people. This is certainly true to a certain extent, but it’s important to understand why. Through my years of wading through the murky bog of online comment fights, I’ve learned a few key things about the hostile nature of the crypto world. https://www.dashforcenews.com/crypto-world-loud-hostile-place/

Reading through the proposals and seeing that Dash has paid a fortune for sponsoring air shows and a plane wrapped in the dash logo I am left wondering why in the world a proposal for a marketing professional is going to fail. It is very hard for the average masternode operator to know what value airshows and basketball teams will bring to adoption and recognition. Think again about the CMO proposal. All the crappy things that get funded and hiring a professional gets voted down.

Some of these guys are pretty persistent and really good at getting the votes. I woukd agree that there maybe the odd proposal that is probably very good... But lacks PR.

Think again about the CMO proposal. All the crappy things that get funded and hiring a professional gets voted down. For what it is worth after your post I read up all the posts below that proposal and the opinion of the dev team and my vote would be no too. I am anyway a bit worring that we do too much marketing while the required base adaption isn't there yet. If you shout out in the world: That's a good product for payments... the next thing a user will ask where can I use it and if you have nothing convincing to show then your marketing is lost. But a second thing..if I read what such a professional salery is... I have to say do we really want to follow the industrie and pay horendous saleries for "hot air blowers" and don't rather want to pay for this that make the product. I know thats the current world right now..but with crypto also such things have the chance to change and get into a balance.
