Do we want to setup a bounty for an already hardened PIMP or BAMT masternode image that only needs the user to do the last few config steps?
Let's not forget, all the POS coins are doing very well and the more people that can setup masternodes, the more Dark is removed from the money supply and the the higher the price will go for everyone. If Masternodes stay only for the highly technically inclined, then its effect on removing supply will stay negligible.
I am willing to put up a 250 DRK bounty for this.

All, the hardfork will break p2pool code. There is currently a bounty of
300DRK + US$100
I will add 200 DRK to that bounty so it is 500.

Aww yeah, I have my CPU mining at about 500kh/s. I am going to make about 15 cents a day on DRK Don't knock it, I have 2 computers with GPUs running and that's all I get! LOL I might have to hit you!!! LOL

FPGA is running X11 In theory, FPGAs can mine any GPU-mineable coin if they are properly programmed, however, despite their bigger speed and power efficiency compared to GPUs, they are not on the level of ASICs (performance wise). So is it possible that some people are mining with FPGAs? Yes it is possible. Do we have any proof? No we don't but we can assume that some people could be mining. Do we know what speed they are doing? No we don't unless they share their data, instead of us making conjectures about hashrates from pools, included GPU farms that switch to X11 from scrypt and are labeled as "FPGAs". What we do know is that right now DRK is the most profitable coin (if you calculate it with 0.20$ / kwh) or the least loss-making coin (if you calculate it with expensive european energy prices of ~0.35E / kwh or ~0.5$ / kwh). http://s7.postimg.org/h3hodxe8b/profit1.jpghttp://s7.postimg.org/oxi9zbm17/profit2.jpgWe also know that this profitability (compared to scrypt / scrypt-N and other X11 coins) would not be possible if it was raped by non-GPUs... So 1+1 = 2.

Btc-mike, regarding the site in your sig (CPU Coin List - Cryptocurrencies for Your Processor), I assume it's yours?
The GPU advantage of DRK is ~3.3 for top-end/tuned CPU vs top-end/tuned GPU.
CPU hashrate reported for 6core/12thread i7 @ 4.5GHz is at 880khs with avx/aes enabled, while top/tuned 290x's pull close to 2.9 MHs.

How many threads should I set my minerd at when using my i7-4770K? I might also run it on my old Q6600
I leave one out, so for 2 core, I use 1 and for 4 core, I use 3 I think it helps my gpu miner run better??? Correct, When GPU mining on the same rig, leave one CPU thread idle for the that.

Someone with a time machine who knows just how big DRK will be a la Biff from Back to the Future 2? I wish I had that many... Yeah he/she bought another 5397 half an hour ago. Smart individual. Yes, my site. I am using AMD-8320 and R9 280x for all tests. I have the 8320 so it makes testing easier. The GPU Advantage of all algorithms is based on the hash rates from these two. They are not the best but they provide a reference systems that allows someone to compare different algos. I know that the groestl algo GPU Advantage would benefit greatly from using a Haswell GPU as well as using 16GB in the test system. If you are interested seeing some of the discussion about groestl look at the last few pages of my thread https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=483976.0

Whats the estimation on how long it'll take before someone with a masternode will see their 1000drk again? estimated daily earnings?

The 1000 drk is NOT a payment and thus not lost. You can retrieve it at any time (of course you will then receive no more payouts). At a 12 coin block reward and 100 masternodes on the network you will get about 6.9 coins daily which is roughly the equivalent of a 38mH/s rig (assuming 35000 net hash rate and 90% of the 12 coin reward). That should be a decent estimate for the first week or so before a ton of node come online.
