You're basing this on what? It's incredibly undervalued (if you look at the features compared to other coins).

what do you think the value of this coin right now is?
Right now 1 DRK costs $2.62 and we have a market cap of $11,181,032. It ranks 9th by the market cap in the crypto-currency market. Then we have Dogecoin with a market cap of $ 35,169,763. Can you please tell me what features does dogecoin offer (from a technical view)? None. Then how is DRK overvalued?

Only thing that saddens me is I didn't buy more, esp when it dipped to .0025 for a bit recently.

Well, looks like you're all on your own there.
Everybody else here got all the DRKs they wanted with absolutely no regrets at all. In fact I feel like I got too many.
Why do you feel like this? I have a lot (more than all other altcoins combined), yet I feel like I need/want more.

I don't. Nobody does. It's human nature to want more when something you've invested in keeps going up.
It dosn't matter if you have 100 or 100 thousand......you just KNEW you should of bought more.

still nothing...i'm guessing we've run out of options at this point??

 Undecided Check that thread https://darkcointalk.org/threads/needed-guide-for-running-masternode-remotely-without-the-1000drk-on-server.386/

could it have anything to do with not using darkcoind on my local setup? my local setup is a Windows OS so i'm issuing all the commands in the Console window of the QT wallet...as far as I am aware there is no darkcoind for Windows.

No it's ok.

ok, already been to that thread and have followed those instructions, no dice Sad i really hope to get this up and running before the 14th.

I just managed to get a Masternode up and runnning, from scratch, through IRC, remote / local setup, EC2 and local Windows-Qt.
I am hoping he'll pop up here and vouch for me, willing to help anyone I can

please help buddy, i'm using EC2 and local Windows-Qt Smiley

Go on IRC. He is there.

thanks, on #darkcoin-test?

finally figured it out Smiley For some reason the MN list is showing the public IP broadcasted by my home router, it's not showing the elastic IP of the EC2 instance. Any idea why this is happening?

Is this anonymous yet? Seriously?

All these anonymous coins out there and none are actually anonymous lol

The only coin claiming to be when asked directly is bytecoin. Is that true?

Im not trying to be difficult, I am looking for the first truly anonymous coin.

Thanks guys

Yes, the older coin design is prettier, but the proposed new one would fit with the website 1000% better and would look way more professional.  Other sites can use the old color, and perhaps other pages - maybe the old one is best for press releases. But I like the current official page colors, and this proposed update to the coin.  Thanks raze, it's been bothering me too!

I'm pretty curious, where do you see a lack of professionalism with the actual coin design ?
The blue makes something look more professional ? That's only a matter of personal taste at this point.

Personally, I don't think the coin is unprofessional at all. Quite the opposite, actually. It's the lack of consistency in the branding that's unprofessional. The logo and website use one color scheme, while the coin uses another. Not to mention there's still a number of third-party websites that are still using variations of the old designs.

All these altcoins out there and 99.9% of them offers nothing actually useful over BTC or each others.

DarkSend, even though with some limitations, works already and can be fully capable for real life usage really soon.

Man it just blows my mind how hard this is to do. How many "anonymous coins" out there now? Does bytecoin work? what about this new one Liberty? I'm buying the one that can pull it off. So don't think I'm just here to mess with you guys. I'm following these coins. Why hasn't darksend been done yet. How close is it really?

I still can't figure this out and would appreciate any help: after the blockchain stopped syncing randomly (it was working for a while) I re-installed darkcoin-qt and all of my addresses except for one dissapeared, and with it hundreds of darkcoin. Anyone know what happened or how I can get them back? I had less than 10 addresses

Do you have a backup of the wallet from when you had that balance? Try listaddressgroupings in the console to look at the hidden addresses of the wallet.

@Contraband I would stick with drk if I were you. Here is the latest development schedule:

Here's the new schedule for development:

- RC2 (masternode payments, DGW3) : May 14th
- RC3 (1000 DRK limit and denominated change) : May 21st
- After this, I'll find someone to vet the code and open source.
- RC4 (Bugs, security issues)
- Testing, then opensource

Hopefully now you will see it. The dogecoin community is just weird. You can't really say that a community is a feature.

10 I wouldn't call here, 1000 I would say here but limited. Thanks for the answer.

Now, it I were a super hacker, can darksend be "cracked" in some way?

I know most of you that hold a bunch will just say whatever. But believe me, others that come to this community to research this coin want to know this too. Reading through the whole thread is not only time consuming, but it is much more informative to ask directly. Thanks again guys. Great coin!!!!

No it's very unlikely*. That was a debate 600 pages ago...

The masternodes are owned by different users, on different servers, in different countries. The process is such that a single person or a single entity can't possess all the knowledge, unless it owns every masternodes, not the majority, everything. But then it would be pointless, since it would have to possess all coins (expensive) to track its own transactions. That's the decentralization by Darkcoin  Wink

I was told in my earpiece that there is more to come.
