If we all start buying what we want in extra DRK and after that try to make some kind of agreement not to sell. I know it might sound stupid but it might work
"Everybody start buying" sounds like a great idea, even in small amounts. "agreement not to sell" is a prisoner's dilemma. It would benefit everybody to hodl, but some people will betray the cause due to purely rational self-interest. To quote Robin Williams (as the Genie): "Well, here's hoping" You are right , some would indeed do that but we should try to persuade by telling them it is not really interesting to sell. I am in Crypto now over 1 Year , and feel that its DRK or nothing anymore , hope that more think the same

What do you think guys and gals? Massive coordinated buy (even individually small) by all the community, until a threshold of 0.008 (or whatever) then we all leave a buy wall at this level... What do you think? Can be a good idea?

We should have a day where everyone goes into Cryptsy/Bitfinex/etc and doubles their sell orders price. Would that even work? It's a pretty interesting thought experiment. yes! there's nothing wrong with some voluntary collusion to raise the price, that's fair to do and I like the idea. how about announcing a "suggested price" of 0.02 BTC, or $5.70? that would put Darkcoin ahead of Dogecoin, where it belongs. and it might get us some useful attention. value is whatever we decide it is, and DRK is obviously undervalued. those of us sellers who need the short-term $ and are regularly selling for below what we think our Darkcoins are worth should encourage each other to force the price up to a higher level, which will end up getting us paid more for our coins. how about it? -onetime I'm not selling my DRK good! this suggestion applies to people who are selling DRK at the current price. I have been regularly. (reluctantly. ) Same here, I don't have sell order. What about one week end day everybody, that want to participate, put 1BTC on cryptsy and/or bitfinex and clear all this small sell orders to go at 0.008 or more.. I personally don't care to buy little more expensive. When I'm buying (DRK), I never put a buy order and wait that it get filled. I always go through the sell orders directly. Edit : this can be see as a coordinate pump? But is it important? If it came from the comunity? Yes it is important. You guys are talking about collusion, price rigging, and market manipulation. Besides that this a silly idea that will never work, it is probably illegal and will only end badly with innocent people losing money. Anyways, I think it was started as a joke and should have never been taken seriously. DRK stands on its own merits in a free market. The end.

What do you think? Can be a good idea? For this to work, I'd recommend something like this, a very trusted person to receive, hold and coordinate all funds and bids, you PM them for a deposit address, so the total is secret, he/she then buys &/or puts walls, all coins bought would be put in to new Masternodes and held for 6 months or better one year, with rewards re-invested in extra MN, after the time period everyone gets their coins plus what ever they've made over the time period proportionally.

I'm with KryptoFoo, this is not a good idea. Investors reading this thread will not take well to this kind of thing in the community. Please end this planning, now.
This community is highly regarded, and I promote that fact all the time. Don't ruin our reputation, just have patience. DRK will rise organically over time with more merchant and customer adoption...

I disagree. it's not illegal or wrong to voluntarily collude. DRK owners can sell or not sell at whatever price they want, and if buyers want DRK, they must pay the price a seller is willing to sell at. it's supply and demand, the market is free and fair. imo, voluntary collusion is fair game. -onetime

Today I just recovered about 500 BTC that I had on Stamp, touch wood as I've left them there still in USD for now, the last few days it hasn't been at all sure if I would ever see them again, so I may well do some celebratory DRK buying on it's anniversary

What? I think he was just being sarcastic, and making a point, that coordinated buying or selling is still part of the free market. If it was not that then I dont get it either.
