can we get back to Dash now? Sure... Pornography: making you go from a dash to a forward slash. The Olympics feature the world's longest hyphen, the 400 metre dash. My wife, Dorothy, is threatening to run off due to my obsession with Morse code.
I begged her, "Please don't dash Dot." BT denies that they are not getting fast broadband to rural areas as seen below.
Dot dash dot... dot dot dash... dot dash dash... There's a petrol pump icon on my car's dash that notifies me whenever my bank account is almost empty

bigrcanada, I'm wondering when the "professional demeanor" starts?
Well....as you can imagine, some people are just fed up with being politically correct and all the shit spewing around. I find it all humorous myself. It seems most forums of ANY KIND on ANY TOPIC seems to be the domain of the mal-adjusted. Not sure why people, any people, find it necessary to be so obnoxious. But...I'm off to enjoy some sunshine and some open high-way....I think more people should do the same! In other words, the Dash community is filled with obnoxious hateful trolls like the rest, and claims of an exceptionally professional demeanor here are wishful thinking (aka denial of reality) on your part. Thank you for clearing that up.

Thank you for clearing that up.
And thank you for the hypocrisy. I don't ever post in your ANN, this is DASH territory. Whenever I post something like the previous it's merely a counterattack to pre-existent trolling from the obnoxious hateful trolls that keep shitting on our lawn. Countertrolling is not trolling and therefore I'm not a troll. Exposing your brain-amputated acolytes is just something I enjoy doing as a pastime and I am proud of every quote. "Struck dogs bark" is what they say after all.

For the record, Dash is a direct fork of bitcoin core and not litecoin as stated by a 'Dev'
Dash is a fork of litecoin according to github. Bitcoin code may have been merged/replaced later but let's not rewrite history, despite some history being inconvenient. Which of course is not 100% true as the algo its Sifcoin (of which Quark forked) and Qubitcoin joined. Sifcoin 6 hash (Blake, BMW, Groestl, JH, Keccak, Skein) + Qubitcoin 5 hash (Luffa, Cubehash, Shavite, Simd, Echo) the magic "innovation" of x11 The end result is the same as a stray, done by the pack. Many great things have humble beginnings. The XCoin / Darkcoin / Dash project, if the naming evolution itself doesn't give away how serious it's become since the beginning, has all the hallmarks of a tinkerer who didn't initially recognize his own untapped genius.

Strawman fallacy. I don't object to that. I object to the idea of you playing victim by complaining about backlash your community caused in the first place. Personally I never heard of or cared about Monero until the incessant attacks started, so go figure.

If it does not work that probly means you are facing region-bound problems with regards to that site. Best is to use an USA server then when trying to connect to that site, for example by using VPN or by using a browser that let you select a different region / USA server It kinda sucks but it is what it is.. mostly European countries seem to have problems trying to connect to that site / link. edit : i added a request to fix it on bitcoinwisdom's forum ..

I don't think they know how to work a GUI wallet - might be a stretch....
First of all, a GUI isn't a priotity, the protocol is. *We need to have tools to make integration in apps, exchanges, etc etc more easy *We need to improve the protocol *We need to make it usuable by f.e. implementing a DB system. After that, there is time for an "official GUI". But if you can't wait, you can check out the GUI's created by some community members: And why are you bashing us for not having a client? Monero is funded by the community, not by a instamine (2 million DASH) or by an ICO like Ethereum (30000 BTC) By the way, did you know that Ethereum only has a command line client that is just terrible compared to the pretty usable XMR command line client? This is an example how the Ethereum client looks like: And this is how the Monero command line client works, very responsive and usable, once you "get over" the fact that it is opened in a command line window:

Smooth is a core-dev of a smaller competitor...
Smooth is indeed a core-dev... One with least professional attitude towards actual "development" I have ever seen. Instead of coding and hard work, he is posting on forums that have nothing to do with his project. Not even relevant important stuff, but actively going into other coin's threads and talking trash. just plain old rubbish marinated with poo-poo. I believe trolling from ANY coin community is unacceptable, wither from us, xmr or anyone for that matter. Unfortunately that is the new culture of the internet, where people can talk trash behind a computer screens and not have to worry about getting their teeth knocked out and not face the music. Oh well...clearly that will never change now with the culture of tough talking keyboard peckers, so whats the point. I for one...have my address up and full name for anyone that wants to visit and go old school, and talk trash in person, we'll sort it out then. LoL in the mean I'm going out for a ride! Who's going to knock their teeth out Bigr? You? Are you going to knock my teeth out if I tell you in person that Dash is a fraudulent instamined shitcoin? The "point" of discussion is to communicate and perhaps even increase propagation of knowledge. What's the "point" of going "old school" (besides to win some kind of irrelevant weight/strength/length measuring contest)? BigBullyCanada seems to long for the Dark Ages, when might made right. Too bad (for him) we live in a time where men are equal and free to speak their mind, thanks to the keyboard and Sam Colt. I wonder what BigBullyCanada does when children, female, disabled, or elderly people challenge his opinions and tell him he's wrong. Does he "knock their teeth out" too, or what? His Internet Tough Guy BS is a caveman mentality appeal to force, in the form of Dash's Attack-The-Attacker policy. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Argumentum_ad_baculumOur bald biker bully chum knows better than ^that^ but doesn't care, so strong is his cargo cult programming and so great is his buttburned embarrassment for falling prey to a "snake oil" scam like Dash.
