TestNet Update - v12.0.29 - TESTNET ONLY!

- Masternode inv messages / save seen in mncache
- only take newest votes
- Fixed budget syncing issues / forking issues / syncing issues …
- Budgets now store the seen objects locally so they're not overwritten when saving/loading to check validity of budget.dat
- Added safer sync "failure" mode, that will retry an hour later if the sync fails for some reason. This will stop the client from thinking it has budget data and rejecting blocks when they're valid.
- protocol bump
- version bump

V12 should be released in around a week, barring any unforeseen development. People will be given ample time to update, and then a hard fork will be performed on August 24th. (Fixed your quotes)

Is this the update that fixes Dash's broken Darksend anonymity by implementing Masternode blinding?

No?  Why not?  Masternode blinding has only been 'in the works' for at least 5 months.

Masternode blinding was supposed to be part of "the next release" according to https://www.dashpay.io/news/11-2-dash-release/

What's taking so long?

Because one of them is the blockreward reduction, which is alertering the schedule that is pre-existing. Once we differ, it's a hard fork. However, everything else is a spork.

You know, my mother was right, patience is a virtue.

As anyone can clearly see by going through updates, is was explained that Masternode Blinding is still very much on the development radar, just postponed temporarily while we create a stable version to be included in our mobile wallet projects, which are currently under development.

When these mobile wallets using V12 are completed, then the plan is to continue the planned path of enabling Masternode Blinding.

At that point, the ever-shrinking material base of the sideshow clown show will be down one more trick, and Dash will be well on its way to becoming a dominant cryptocurrency and payment platform on a global scale.
