The only point that is not right clear for me is how to extend the service after the 3 month. Will there be a note and an address on that personal MN page?

Yes. I know from experience that feature is now active when your 90 day clock runs down.

It's a great new feature and I've been meaning to compliment Moocowmoo on it.

6.19 days is even better  Cheesy  Thanks. Good page.

Thanks. I enjoy writing docs like that.

Is it prevented that a MN by chance can stay in that selection pool and never becomes selected?
I mean if the selection pool has 300 MN's is the worst that can happen to a MN in that pool that it becomes selected after 300 selections?

No the 'worst' that can happen is the masternode doesn't get selected after 300 (using your example number) and gets pushed out of the pool (back to the end of the list) -- this happens 0.6% of the time on average.

For now I enjoy the partial anonymity by not haveing to provide any information your services offers.  I will check the personal MN link you created every now and then.
Once there is more money at stack I will check what to do best. Give you an email or make an automatic page check or anything.

And I'm fine with that. Is why I don't ask for any info on signup.  And, requiring re-starts is super rare, like once a year.

The only point that is not right clear for me is how to extend the service after the 3 month. Will there be a note and an address on that personal MN page?

In the last 30 days of service, a deposit address and amount will appear beneath the time-remaining counter.

Do I understand this correct? With 3500 to 4000 MN's I will have to wait about 14 days till I can see the first payment?

nope : see this link http://178.254.18.153/~pub/Dash/masternode_payments_stats.html (thank you crowning)
currently with 3568 masternodes its about 6.19 days (excluding variation)

Yes, you can estimate the cycle length by doing (total masternodes/blocks per day) 3658/576.

But, one important thing to know about payment variation is that selection is now based on block hashes, a security feature added in v12.  This prevents predicting which node will be selected, but also makes payments probabilistic instead of deterministic.  Nodes get skipped or get double payments about 0.6% of the time on average.

See my writeup here for more info: https://dashpay.atlassian.net/wiki/display/DOC/Payment+Logic

thanks for this writeup .. makes things more clear.

The coin has gone up 100% in a week. 100%! So why can't it retrace a few percent?

It's consolidation. Don't worry about the minute charts ; look at the 12h mintpal chart on bitcoinwisdom for example. Zooming out increases calm.

Agreed. It's called "profit taking" and it happens in all markets.

Sugar-coatings are detrimental.

1) It's a layer of bullshit that smart people have to decode and smart people shouldn't have to put up with that shit.
2) Dumb people need a thrashing; pain is an excellent teacher.
3) It divides the men from the boys. The listener can "be offended" or they can step up and stop being stupid. Observing this choice allows the smart people to see if the deciders have potential, or are wastes of oxygen.

edit : and appearently we were all listening to some pretty darn good music at the time, at least i was....
edit : anyone still have the "DarkCoin Anthem - The Long Version" by any chance for good old time sake ? Soundcloud seems to have a blackout with regards to it, as does Google and YouTube.

edit : holy f, i just discovered what draw me to Darkcoin ... the music  Grin

Care or not, there is a growing number of threads being created in the ALT coin discussion from our usual group of friends.

They are mostly chattering away to themselves about how bad DASH is that everyone is going to jail for holding DASH.

TPTB_need_war is mostly leading the charge cheered on by his new sponsors.  There are a few other threads I think I have missed that have been blatantly hijacked to spread the FUD but people seem to quickly tell them to F*^K off these days Wink

The altcoin topic everyone wants to sweep under the rug

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1218399.140

looking for truth: if dash is scam, where are the victims?

Why the darkcoin/dash instamine matters

Update:

Another theatre thread, apparently TPTB_need_war is Satoshi and that DASH is therefore against Satoshi.

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1426998.0

TPTB_need_war having an identity crisis ? i think we should discuss this...

Well the entity behind TPTB_need_war has certainly come charging out of the blocks with DASH in it's gun sights.

I'm certainly seeing a new campaign starting given smooth has also returned to actively participating in the FUD.

It seems that they cashed out. Stupid trolls. Stupid !!!  Grin
