Dash Evolution creates a new type of cryptographic currency with various advanced features that assist in the creation of decentralized technology. Dash introduces a tiered network design, which allows users to do various jobs for the network, along with decentralized API access and a decentralized file system.

We will be writing the software for this project in stages, the first stage will take about 2 months to have a very early prototype for Dash Evolution that includes a basic implementation of DashDrive, Primitives, DAPI and a simple T3 wallet. In six to eight months, we should be entering testnet phase with most basic functionality. In 12-18 months, we plan for the first release version (a stable prototype).

Included below is our current work on Evolution, that adds many components such as:

•DashDrive – A decentralized shared file system that lives on the second tier network
•DAPI – A decentralized API which allows third tier users to access the network securely
•DashPay Decentralized Wallets – These wallets are light clients connected to the network via DAPI and run on various platforms
•Second Tier – The masternode network, which provides compensated infrastructure for the project
•Budgets – The second tier is given voting power to allocate funds for specific projects on the network via the budget system
•Governance – The second tier is given voting power to govern the currency and chart the course the currency takes
•Quorum Chain – This feature introduces a permanent stable masternode list, which can be used to calculate past and present quorums
•Social Wallet – We introduce a social wallet, which allows friends lists, grouping of users and shared multisig accounts.

Very interesting... So it looks like Dash is benefiting from a bit of a rising tide effect too. We're so close to our ATH in USD terms, less than $2m to go... got as close as within $500k yesterday evening!

Fingers crossed we'll continue to see a steady rise in value in the coming months, then the positive feedback loop that Evan talks about will really kick in and unleash more funds for further dev work etc.

Warning to those running their own MNs.  My masternode servers were kicked off line twice in the last couple of weeks because it exceeded 512 gb of memory.  I lost over 6 dash because of this.  If you're running a MN on a server with 512 ram, I suggest strongly that you upgrade before you're kicked off line

Hello Tante, How did this appear? Something that you could see in the logs? I had both of my masternodes go down a couple of weeks ago, but they are running again fine for the moment.
Do you have an active swap partition or a swap file on your droplets? I just checked and Digital Ocean discourages users from setting them up, but maybe that is an alternative if the ram ran out and the system had to kill the process that was allocating too much memory.

Congratulations Dash on reaching a new ATH market cap (averaged over 24 hours, so excludes temporary spikes)!

It's amazing what has been accomplished and how the project has transformed since the budget system was released in August of last year... just look at the results and the price appreciation in the charts.

Should get the Dash wallet built in, it's a secure, encrypted OS with the wallets built in.
I wanna move my dash onto it to play around, I think you just have to request the add... Though maybe in a few days

Indeed, it would be easy to take out 0.016 just for s&g or through fat finger trading as I did a couple of weeks ago when I was trying to move my buy wall from 0.0105 to 0.01075 but entered 0.0175 oops, too much Chablis, so ended up with 11 more MN but at fortuitous timing price wise so all was good.
