how does dash feel about ada ... given its seems to replicate the governance model.....
Given ADA putting Dash's market cap to shame, I'd imagine Dash bagholders are very salty about Cardano's rise to power. Of course DashHoles can't really complain about replication since Dash imitates GreenAddress with InstantSend and imitates Coinjoin with PrivateSend. Cardano's governance model is much better than Dash's. For one thing, it's been formally verified. Plus Cardano doesn't have that massive, problematic Instamine that Dash suffers from. Cardano is more decentralized because it costs less to fully participate in the system (CONOP) compared to Dash's million-dollar-Ponzi-nodes. Can we consider POS coins Self instamine as in most cases they are minted by some people secretelly.

most cryptocurrency experts say this Don't invest in coins with big supply.
ADA has a big big supply and it's a POS coin; so forget it what ever ADA try to replicate.
Well maybe this is not true, even the expers say so. Look at XRP (huge supply) and also look at ETH (they are trying to switch to POS) so nothing is impossible in crypto these days.

Bank of England Considers Digital Currency, Underscoring Cryptocurrency’s New Popularity The Bank of England may be considering the creation of a digital currency, indicating a mainstream moment for blockchain technology.
According to a recent release, the Bank of England is considering implementing a digital currency in a similar vein to popular cryptocurrencies. Similar to Dash, this will be targeted at general use by businesses and consumers, rather than simply to facilitate bank-to-bank transfers. Unlike Dash, however, a key aspect of a Bank of England-issued token would be control over its distribution and supply by the central bank, something that operates in a fashion opposite to that of Dash. The goal, then, would be a facilitation of the present financial system, rather than the creation of a newer, freer one.

Can you add SpectroCoin in the list of exchanges on dash.org? https://www.dash.org/exchanges/ It is not the biggest service, but they are EU based with 600k+ users. They also support few other crypto (BTC, ETH, XEM,...) and FIAT (EUR, USD, PLN etc.) My verification took them just one day (in these days) and they also provide Card service - both virtual and plastic cards Link (my referal) - https://spectrocoin.com/en/signup.html?referralId=945058529

Hi guys, I don't use DASH too often to move funds between exchanges, but this is what happened today. I think the transfer stuck somehow, before I send ticket to support, first i would like to ask here what is the normal, average time to transfer? (I didn't seen any information about fees when i make transfer) Edit: Nevermind. The transfer has arrived.

Liberty Forum Drops Bitcoin for Tickets After 7 Years, Switches to Dash Liberty Forum has dropped Bitcoin as a payment option for tickets in favor of Dash, ending seven years of Bitcoin acceptance.
The flagship conference of the libertarian intentional community initiative the Free State Project, Liberty Forum is one of the world’s premier conferences on pro-liberty thought and activism, with a cutting-edge and cypherpunk bent, which has led to an early and heavy focus on cryptocurrencies. Past speakers have included Edward Snowden, Rick Falkvinge, Patrick Byrne, Lyn Ulbricht, Jeffrey Tucker, and others. Notably, the Free State Project has accepted Bitcoin as a form of payment for all events since 2011, just two years into cryptocurrency’s existence and three years prior to Dash’s creation.

For such an old coin, the circulating supply is still low. I wonder why.

DASH has more secure network and very active dev team behind this coin as compare with BCH I also agreed with very soon this will overtake. Current market cap is still very low it has really wonderful potential soon it will be more valuable.

Why has no one proposed an all Dashed backed trading to alts platform to the network?? One that will also have to ability to link directly to bank accounts for direct USD transfers?? This would dethrone BTC and Coinbase within a year.... EZ!!! Some one do it. Be GREAT!

Dash Sponsors HardFork Sci-Fi Thriller Series Dash has sponsored HardFork, a blockchain-based thriller series.
Dubbed a “crypto-noir thriller set in a near future world where decentralized factions work to overthrow their society’s centralize regime,” HardFork is a blockchain-centered science fiction series. This series plans on exhibiting top-notch production values to create an enjoyable show to popularize blockchain technology and cryptocurrency with the general public. A proof-of-concept teaser trailer was produced for the Dash community prior to the proposal’s submission.

Unlike Dash, however, a key aspect of a Bank of England-issued token would be control over its distribution and supply by the central bank, something that operates in a fashion opposite to that of Dash.
Sorry but that's just not true. Evan Duffield has demonstrated his complete control over the parameters of his Dash project on at least three separate occasions. 1. Evan could have relaunched after the disaster of the initial Instamine, yet he elected not to do the obviously right thing. 2. Evan later arbitrarily reduced by 20% the total emission of Dash, thus greatly compounding the rich-get-richer effect of Masternodes staking Instamined coins. 3. Evan suddenly and arbitrarily rebranded the Darkcoin project to Dash over the objections of bagholders and devs like vertoe who resented having their Darkcoin roadmap taken away and replaced with a brand stolen from dish soap. The Bank of England has many more checks and balances within its governance structure than Dash, which is merely the vanity project of one random dude who treats it as his personal plaything. At any moment Evan may again decide to change the brand and/or emission. Nothing is fixed in Dash; Dash is only whatever Evan does. Nothing more, nothing less. Source: Anyone who's been around long enough knows nothing in Dash is ever set in stone and we listen to the community. Last time we removed the block halving we received a lot of crap, here's the problems with yearly halving. - It's too fast and could destroy the coin - It's way too much (50% per year) - We already have formula for controlling the supply Let's have a vote! https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=525093.0 Wow, governance via BitcoinTrollTalk polling. Of course most of us realize Evan only listens to the Yes Men sockpuppet side of the community asking him to do whatever he wanted to do anyway.
