Traditional pyament platforms, including Paypal has come to the end of their lifespan. It's time for cyrptocurrencies, including DASH.
Let's not get ahead of ourselves. Bitcoin isn't even adopted on a large scale, much less altcoins (including DASH).

Please please please tell me you are not a bot, designed to crawl your way through the ANN threads of this Bitcointalk forum , quoting posters from page 1. Because that would be lame, even for a bot. Edit : and if you are that bot please tell me you stop after page 1, and not go through each of our 6616 pages

New York Attorney General Launches Probe into Cryptocurrency Exchanges New York Attorney General, Eric Schneiderman, launched an investigation into 13 cryptocurrency exchanges on Tuesday.
AG Schneiderman sent a letter with a questionnaire to Coinbase, Gemini, Bit Trust, and ten other exchanges requesting more information on the exchanges’ trading policies, basic operation, fees charged, and controls against money laundering and hacks. The AG justified his inquiry by arguing that “consumers in New York and across the country have a right to transparency and accountability when they invest their money,” but they often “don’t have the basic facts they need to assess the fairness, integrity, and security of these trading platforms”.
Most exchanges welcomed the inquiry, but Kraken’s CEO, Jesse Powell, took a stand by saying “I realized that we made the wise decision to get the hell out of New York three years ago and that we can dodge this bullet.” Powell was referring to the infamous BitLicense New York City issued a few years back that cause many cryptocurrency companies, including Kraken, to emigrate from the NYC area. The mass emigration was not completely lost on lawmakers since they are now debating about revising the BitLicense or possibly getting rid of it entirely.

Dash Gaining Traction in Cannabis Industry? Proposal Seeks Funding for Genome Research Following his successful proposal last December, Kevin McKernan of Medicinal Genomics is once again asking the Dash network for funding, this time to improve the sequencing of the cannabis genome. In his first proposal, McKernan asked the network to fund a partnership-level sponsorship of the upcoming CannMed 2018 conference. He also received funding to move his cannabis genomics work from the Bitcoin to Dash Blockchains.
Broken patents
This genomics project is particularly interesting, and important, due to the broken nature of the US patent system. Cannabis plants have been selectively bred to create higher-quality strains for many years, but due to marijuana’s illegality, nobody attempted to patent their strains. Doing so would essentially be an admission of violating the law by growing the plants in the first place. However, as cannabis started becoming legal in various jurisdictions, corporations stepped in and began requesting patents on certain strains of cannabis.

Just my opinion.

More adoption and bigger community will make this really valuable it is pretty cheap as compare with other top markets from my point of view it has big potential with it is unique tech and great services.

At the moment from giant projects Dash is moving slowly in its climbing upwards. There is some visible increase in its fiat side volume but rise ain parity with BTC is still to happen juts like other markets. I went for Dash once again putting my stake on it as under the silence next rally surely is forming before appearing on the surface. Lot of things to provide fuel for taking off is here.

How Dash’s Free Market Approach Won the Governance Race The top cryptocurrency project with a built-in governance system, Dash has for years stood as the gold standard in this field. As many new projects attempt to solve this great puzzle of how to run a decentralized autonomous organization, and other non-DAO coins run into consensus problems time and again, the first DAO begins to look a little minimalist by structural comparison. Dash’s approach hasn’t changed in years, but this is by design. A free market approach allows Dash to grow into whatever mold works the best.
Dash’s governance mechanism is both simple and inadequate
In essence, Dash’s famed governance system does one thing and one thing only: approves budget payouts. A five Dash fee lets you submit a proposal, which could simply contain one word and no additional information, with a desired payout amount, which could only cover the submission fee. A net 10% of masternodes have to vote for it in order for the proposal to pass. That’s it. That’s the entirety of the governance system. It’s elegantly simple, especially when considering just how robust of a DAO it has enabled.

I am using the old miner for now, but should the new one be much faster? Seems to be complete different than previous. I also do not find the page where the new miner got released and discussed, so please someone tell me there is no trojan or whatever.

I like that site, they have live data and seem a bit more reliable then coinmarketcap. Dash is rising very well, by the way. Same here. Already using that website a couple of weeks now and I can save my favorite coins in their website and tie it up with my account there. Very convenient, I must say, especially when I need to do some research on my coins on the fly. The market is recovering very well together with BTC and I'm quite happy that Dash is going alongside with them. Maybe we can see DASH at $1500 area again in the coming months?

Dash Presents At The Blockchain and Bitcoin Conference in Russia The Dash Core Chief Operating Officer, Robert Wiecko, presented Dash, its accomplishments, and its goals to an audience at the Blockchain and Bitcoin Conference in Russia on April 17-18, of which Dash was a General Sponsor.
Numerous pictures of Dash’s presence at the conference can be seen on the Dash.org website. In the video presentation recorded by Dash People, Robert mentioned how Evolution will be very important since it will be convenient like PayPal, Venmo, etc with the user experience that consumers already know. Robert added that he “believes it will be a kind of revolution for the industry.”
Robert answered questions afterwards, of which many were translated from Russian to English out of microphone range so not all of the questions were fully captured. However, in response to one question, Robert emphasized that Dash “is not an investment” and that the Dash team “is aiming for a payments network” where the team is “working on the entire ecosystem of the merchants that will be accepting Dash”. He added that it is “the use case that you already have with cash, but the difference is that you are being secured by the blockchain and your information is private.” Another audience member asked what advantages does Dash have compared to other cryptocurrencies. Robert responded by emphasizing how Dash differentiates itself.
