Still getting

Error -11: Building Program <clBuildProgram>
Error compiling program for search.

Tried 13.2 and 14.1 beta drivers, running a 6990 on windows.

Any ideas?

i've been trying to solve this same exact problem all night on one of my pc's. i've tried everything and i can't figure out why its doing this. if you ever figure it out please send me a pm lol. if i figure it out ill give you a msg as well

What GPU are you running? Is the problem limited to 6*** series cards?

If someone can help me get this working I'll gladly donate my first few hours of mining income.

I can't get it running on my 6990's either :/

Someone please help me run this gpu miner in windows.
Am using r9 280x cards.
I can donate 100 drk's.
Compile it yourself with cygwin, instructions in README file. In root folder of sources.
Or you can compile and run it much easier on linux distro.

Also, about mining hashrate

Put your worker user/pass into sgminer.conf and run sgminer.bat

Donate to phm as he is the creator of gpu miner.

New CPU Miner!!

I have created a new cpu-miner 64bit and I achieved about 22% more khs/sec .

This version is based on cpu-miner-1.2c by ig0tik3d, and plus uses AES-NI/AVX instructions from an other library, so it's usable with this list of Intel Processors:

http://ark.intel.com/search/advanced/?AESTech=true

and with these series by AMD:
    AMD Bulldozer-based processors
    AMD Piledriver-based processors.
    AMD Jaguar-based processors.
    AMD Kaveri-based processors.

I'll release it today, but it's in alpha stage and needs testing because I tried it just with a Sandy Bridge i5-2400 from a friend.

I have not cpus to mine, so bounties for my time will are very appreciated.

Let me know if you are interested.

Is it using SSE3 (ssse3 cpuinfo flag) and if yes can I use only SSE3 and not AVX&AES? (I've got a wolfdale core)

Anyone could give a windows version

Fails to compile for me. I compiled just fine several minerd builds using mingw/msys under win7 64, but even tweaking compile commands (i.e. in windows,
Code:
LIBCURL="-lcurldll" ./configure CFLAGS="-O3 -march=native"
is needed) this one fails to compile:

Code:
make
(...)
In file included from xcoin.c:38:0:
x6/grso-asm.c: In function 'grsoP1024ASM':
x6/grso-asm.c:6:3: error: unknown register name 'xr15' in 'asm'
    asm <
    ^
x6/grso-asm.c:6:3: error: unknown register name 'xr14' in 'asm'
x6/grso-asm.c:6:3: error: unknown register name 'xr13' in 'asm'

etc.

has anyone managed to compile this in win64?

Lebubar if I remember right you have a 5xxx series radeon. This fixed it for me:

http[Suspicious link removed] ---- Beta drivers from AMD cat 14.1

And for your bat file

sgminer --kernel darkcoin -o stratum+tcp://pool.darkcoin.io:3333 -u username  -p password  -I 16 -g 1 -w 256 --lookup-gap 2 --thread-concurrency 3200

Try this, especially the thread concurrency as that makes or breaks it for me.

EDIT: Set this up on a second PC in the house running crossfire 5770, same settings. Pulling 600 Kh/s per gpu.. Fantastic!
I'm still having trouble with this. I've tried everything mentioned here but I'm obviously missing something. I'm trying it on a 5870. Any advice?

Seems like most of you reporting success are mining here-  stratum+tcp://pool.darkcoin.io:3333. I'm using smalltime to mine. As long as I'm pointed to the right worker it shouldn't make a difference which pool I'm with right?

Ok,
Thank you very much.. For the moment -I'm downloading the 13.12 (I saw that I have 13.1)
If not working I'll try the beta with your parameter.. I'll inform you. May be I'll finish tomorrow ...

Hi SeriousCoin
So With your parameter it seems to work, with version13-12 of Catalyst.
I put I 18 and got beter hash rate (stil can use my PC but little slow)

The problem is the number shown are not good during monitoring of the execution :
sgminer version 4.0.0 - Started: [2014-02-15 07:29:42]

But when I press G to change the conf I've got :

Thread 0: 438.6 Kh/s Enabled ALIVE

A:269 it seem better i run it since 2 hour and half...

I'll try other parameter because I know better cgminer than this one.
And Experimental intensity and some other param are new for me

Thanks all.

If your question is about the miner working - no it doesn't matter which pool as long as your username and pwd are correct for that pool. And that shouldn't affect the hashrate too much, unless the pool has screwed up their variable difficulty.

If your question is about the amount of coins you get from mining - well, that depends on pool luck, the relative number of shares by other miners, and the way shares are split by the pool.

Sorry. Reading that back, I realized I wasn't very clear. I meant to ask; are most people having success with the sgminer using the same pool. In all my "noobness" I can't see why that would matter, but I've tried all the settings stated above trying to mine with my 5870 without any luck. I'd try to compile it on my own but I've never done that before. I'm sure I'm overlooking something easy for all you veterans. I'm just not sure what. Oh and thanks for the reply. Smiley

Great news !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  Cheesy

So what will happen to this coin now that there is a gpu miner? any speculations?

I bought in yesterday and seems like a bad investment for now.

As far as I know the public test of the anonymity feature of DRK should begin today or tomorrow, if that goes well we could see a huge jump in price (between x10 x 100), if it goes badly I'd expect a drop.  That feature is what this coin is all about and it is a major feature.

Because of blackmarket exchanges or just the success of the coin?

I was thinking initially there would be a big price increase just due to investors/speculators jumping on board to a coin with a potentially very useful feature.

Any word on when the test is going ahead?

I'm looking forward for DarkSend feature because this is one important thing that makes this coin more than pump 'n dump shitcoin.

BTW We need wiki page, subreddit, separate forum (especially for miners and speculators, because I'm fed up with such talks in announce thread).

I'm all up for PRing for this coin on reddit, would be nice to get a working tipbot though, cause that really does the trick to get a subreddit alive and going.
