anyone know how/why my masternode is in the list when i run "masternode list" command from my local wallet, but not there when I run the same command in the server? They are running the same version 0.10.7.1

How do you short?  Is there an exchange doing this now?

His meaning is that he tried to sell at around 0.0051 to buy back at lower price. There is always a risk involved here, if it doesn't go down he will end up missing the train and hating himself or just rebuying back at higher rate than he sold

It's not a short.  It was a sale with the hope of buying back cheaper.  A, "Short" in equity trading terms is where you borrow someone else's equity on margin in a bet that the price goes down so that you can buy it back at that lower price to, "Cover" your short.

VERY different things.  I was hoping an exchange had set margin trading and shorting up.  The first that does it well will make a ton of money.

As of 10.7.1 and 9.3.1, masternode with port 0  will not be listed.

Please check if your node has port 0.
And check server's debug.log, if your Masternode was rejected.

i added the masternode to port 9999 not port 0. why wouldn't the local wallet masternode list retrieve the same list as the server though?
