Not getting rid of masternodes, some ideas of new features implemented are in the first post. Evan's new idea is still unknown. |

As far as I understand Evan has decided not to implement ring signatures. He has another method to increase anonymity that he claims is as good as, if not better than ring signatures. |

Ring signatures, as used in Bytecoin clones, are extremely bloated and almost non-scaleable. Evan has apparently found a solution to give ring-sig level of anonymity by implementing something else within the existing functionality of DarkSend, thus bypassing the bloating / scale-ability problem. We'll see how it goes. |

As far as I understand Evan has decided not to implement ring signatures. He has another method to increase anonymity that he claims is as good as, if not better than ring signatures. The problem with ring signatures is apparently that it has 8x the bloat bitcoin has, and does not scale up for any meaningful number or users. So it could be possible that implementations depending on ring signatures are just impossible to go mainstream. |
