With the West doing its futile best to trash the rouble, Russia is a potentially huge market, and the Russians brook no !@#$%^&* from anyone. 

The US is always trying to start a war especially now with it's western backed proxy war in Ukraine. The Russians know this and they know the dollar and other currencies will collapse at some point, the smart ones are buying math based currencies ahead of the curve. It is also a way to non violently retaliate against western aggression.

The irony is that the US has nothing Russia needs, Putin is giving Obama a masterclass in geopolitical competency, but Obama and chums aren't that bright, and US foreign policy inevitably takes the path marked, "Stupidest Possible."

The West has yet to learn that artificially inflated markets != reality.

1. Is darkcoin better than litecoin?

2. Is darkcoin current price less than litecoin?
