The reason those things haven't been attacked so vigorously is because there is a lot of grey area in regards to file sharing. Money is different!! And ever single government on the planet has a lot to loose. File sharing or piracy is nothing compared to the power digital currencies have.

Which is exactly why Darkcoin will suffer no real damage from government - they are the biggest crooks out there and Darkcoin is useful to them.

There will be some media blather about terrorists and paeodophiles, meanwhile the CIA will be DarkSending millions left and right, and any politician who interferes with that is going to get a very unpleasant visit.

I think Darkcoin is great for anonymity stuff, but wider acceptance by public and businesses will never happen unfortunately.

We already have a wine shop accepting it. With proper marketing and brand positioning, mass adoption ala Bitcoin is not an insurmountable obstacle.

I have no problems, I have sold part and kept other part of DRK. I don't want to say anything wrong about you guys. I'm just saying only one thing: DRK instamine is near 50% (not 5%) of the coins currently available on the market! Don't want to add anything more - no offence.

The 50% distribution would hold true only if no coin had changed hands and that instaminers hold these coins today. Market function is considered irrelevant and the buys and sells that occured as non-existent to fit the "bad distribution" FUD.

Fact is, most coins have changed hands from miners to buyers in dirt-cheap prices who were then reselling higher (still at much lower prices than today). Buying from miners was at 0.0000x to 0.000x, and selling from investors was done in waves up to 0.002.

Check forum history of prices between individuals and prices in exchanges 1-3 weeks after launch:

There was clear announcement, no ninja launch.

Now, to your conclusion about few who manipulate the market - you have no fact/proof of that - this is a pure speculation/accusation, and the past 5 months is not supporting your theory.
People mined, people sold, coins got redistributed many, many times over.
