well I also dont like the picture very much, but it is nothing official. And I also dont like big holders posing with their masternode income. But we cannot prevent such shit, this is a open forum.

but you just trolling and want to exhibition some weaknesses

Do you get upset when someone talks about their £5000 90MH/s mining rig farm?

That's a small holding, an allotment.

 Grin

I know, that was kind of my point. Smiley

With all due respect, you can't take that photo out of context. The author is producing a lot of content for several social networks every day. He uses a fun tone even to talk about darkcoin problems or price falls. When he says he is going to go for someone he is not meaning it literally, he is just passing a message to update. I personally don't love the tone, but let's not make it say what it is not saying. Also, as others have pointed before, any of us know who the guy is, where he is from, or if he is a terrorist.

There is no problem with non-compliant miners. The rules now say that you can keep mining darkcoin without paying and that is something you and others are doing. I feel it is not fair because masternode owners also provide a service to the network, just like miners do, but that is clearly not what you feel. Some masternode owners have a lot and others don't, just like miners. I can think of a few masternodes owners who have done a huge effort to get one, just like I know a few miners that have done a huge effort to buy their equipment. Some have done both huge efforts because most masternode owners are also miners!

When the rules change you are free to leave or to play by the new rules, just like any of us.

Yes I'm a non-compliant miner.

I thought about running some masternodes but I don't want to tie my money up in a coin I don't believe in.

Not sure why people are complaining here. If its too profitable to run masternodes, why are you not running some? Wait, you can't afford one? Why even bother?

If masternodes are more profitable then mining, - stop mining, sell your rigs, set up nodes. (I can tell you it isnt, btw.)
Things will even out. People will come from all over the universe to get hands one 2 extra cents if its profitable until its not.

You will see running a masternode will soon be hardly paying off hosting fees.

Why do you think this Tuareg is a terrorist?

Because he is holding a gun? Wouldnt that make the NRA a terrorist organization?

Or is it because he is a Tuareg? Wouldnt that make you a racist?

Are you trying to say that there are not Tuareg terrorists?  There are domestic terrorists in the United States that are members of the NRA.  timothy mcveigh the Oklahoma City bomber that killed 168 people was a member of the NRA at one time and he was a domestic terrorist.

I'm not a racist if you saw me you would understand why.

The Tuareg are a group of mostly nomadic people who live in northern Africa. They divide themselves into five strictly defined social classes. Nobles own land and camels, and rule the confederations or political alliances. Vassals farm and graze their herds on land managed by nobles.

Notice any similarities with Darkcoin?

I'll make it easy.

Nobles own masternodes and rule the network and collect taxes

Vassals mine the coin and pay taxes to the Nobles

Are you saying that this coin does not need mjners, or that miners are less important than master node owners ?
Just windering if inthe future you, the master node lords will take not 20 but 80 % of miners income.
I do nit like even the 20 % and I think the payment for mn transactions should have been charged in some ither way, and not taken from the miners.

Self-balancing mechanisms are always an option.

If 20% is too much, why not ask for it to be reduced; if people want ASICs, 20% might be requested to increase to 25%.

The Master Nodes provide the value for all the coins, including the ones yet to be mined. If there were no Master Nodes, people wouldn't be here, they would be in the dogecoin thread.

Your being highly selective here. The comparison would be more apt if Darkcoin were the only cryptocurrency in existence. In that case, the Masternode "fee" would potentially qualify as a "tax".

In fact its impact on mining viability is ambiguous right now and only Coinwarz rankings will utimately tell what that is. The masternode dimension of darkcoin only has to improve the valuation by 20% for that "taxing" argument to be dead in the water.

We can all play this game. I'm not a miner - all my holdings have been gained through trading, so I regard mining activities as a "tax" on trading value because miners get coins for "free" (from my perspective) and them go and dump them on markets, reducing the value of my holdings.

What makes you think that its a terorist in the picture ?
Just because he is not white and has no US flag all over, he is a terorist ??!
Makes me sick how most of people think.

If most people think that way then maybe the idiots should stop posting stuff that offends most people.

Deliberately quoting the stupidest thing I have read yet today, but the day is young and I suspect he has plenty more in him, entitlement like Brighton Rock.  Grin

Miners are very important.

I wouldn't be surprised if they don't try and take a larger share from miners in the future.  Most of the people making those decisions are all running numerous masternodes.  They will do what they want.  Just like a government raising taxes or a bank raising fee's.

Many people feel the same way.  Now is the time for you guys to stand up.  I can't do it for you.  Boycott the 20%.  If you're mining Darkcoin switch to a pool that isn't paying the 20%.  If enough people do that there will be no way to force them to pay the 20%.

If you mine at one of these pools you will earn 20% more Darkcoin.

These are the major pools that pay 20% more DRK.  Spread the word.

And having a masternode, right now, costs just about as much, but will earn sh!loads more! My rig is up for peanuts locally to get more DRK ASAP.

Maybe, maybe not:

stu_: !calc 90000
stu_: With last 24h supply of 3092 DRK (source:chaeplin|3m3s) and a network hashrate of 85.65 Gh/s (source:elbzone|44s) your 90.00 Mh/s would have generated 3.249067223 DRK @ 0.01026934 DRK/BTC (source:mintpal|43s) = 0.033365776 BTC/Day / 21.15 USD/Day (source:bitstamp|36s)

You'd heve to be VERY lucky to earn 3+DRK per Masternode daily. Variables are variable obviously...

Yes, but is that with, or without paying for electricity? How much does 90mh/s cost a month to run?

Too bad I didn't start mining on a non-compliant yesterday.  It would have pleased me to know that I helped solve a block that you didn't get your 20% cut from.

That will be in the long distant future! What about mining rig electric costs? Factor that in, plus gear ROI... I dont get it indeed.
MN's create a price feedback loop. Thats the whole principle behind the idea.

You can get in an out of the 1K depoist in seconds. Mining gear devaluates every second. Yes, DRK can crash, so can hardware failure.
