hey guys, where is the official thread for the testnet? Is it on the darkcoin site? I had a link to it but now I can't find it.

Are you waiting for the perfekt moment dumping any shitcoin and pumping DRK ?
I hope Evan will release RC4 without any announcement as he did as masternode payments started last time.
He don´t need to hardfork the network. Release new version and go.
I am so sad watching all these bullshit pump and dumps in alt coin markets.
Why did you play dump and pump games on other shitcoins and did not help on testnet ?
If you would have helped over there you do not have to ask where to find testnetinformations.

DRK network hash @ 140 Gh/s...  Approaching the levels we had with the May 2014 pump...

There's a storm brewin  Wink

Nothing other alt coin is getting bought by people. Dumpminers mine DRK because there are buyers left over.
Dumpminers already destroyed VTC because there were people left over who bought it after months of price decline.
Now these people are gone and  a good coin is gone.

DRK can be happy that it has only the minimal 5 DRK per block strategy.
Alt coin market destroyed itsself by its greedy behaviour and the dayly uppoping scam. Looks like only scammers, fuders and trolls
are left over in these markets.

How much do you have to pay for energy per kwh only to cover your energy bill when mining DRK without taking a profit ?
I think it must be around 0,08 US$ / kwh or lower.

How much people on this planet have these prices ? Not much.
Have a look to central europe. I can not see any country where a miner is left over here ( maybe some who steal energy )
Energy is much to expensive for us. 0.36US$ in europe is a bit to high playing "miner games"

It was part of my mining strategy to be large enough to endure the quiet times.  Looking at how BTC has grown over the years, S-Curve growth with some pretty quiet times in there, I expected there to be quiet times.

For me to negotiate a commercial power rate, I had use a certain number of kilowatts, I made sure I had enough rigs for that.  So it was build a large farm or don't build one at all.

Right now, I'm barely breaking even, but that will change, it will be busy in the future...

A lot of miners are dropping off left right and centre, a lot of coins are going down as well, we are seeing a consolidation, which is a necessary part of the process.

The new generation have arrived and they brought their own currency...

Sorry Camo, Australia banned assault rifles twenty years ago and we've had zero massacres since. Yes people are stupid, so we took the guns away. There was no practical way to only give it to the smart people, downunder.

This is categorically not the place for this discussion but demands a reply:

One foolish thing the Howard government did, among very few examples, was to be seen to be "doing something" in response to one maniac's murder spree.

The difference now is not fewer gun crimes - daily media is full of shootings and gun murders in Australia to a far greater extent than to that which existed at the time of the Port Arthur massacre. Restricting gun ownership has simply made honest people targets.

Dishonest people, criminals, still have illegal firearms and a disarmed populace to shoot at. Our situation has not improved with violent home invasions up, murders up, in fact violent crime of all descriptions increasing significantly since Port Arthur. Gun bans simply reduce the defense options available to honest people.

If people are intent on killing they will use any tool, from vehicles to knives, rocks or tree branches. Restriction of one tool type has zero effect on those of ill-intent, only on the defense options of those who are unwilling to be victims. It is a simple fact that those too lazy to work for a living think twice about breaking into a home clearly marked "Home security by Smith & Wesson".

Now please take this discussion to a suitable forum and leave this darkcoin thread for the discussion of darkcoin.

Edited for sprelling

Since the 31st of July I've had 1 payment on the 5th August.

Hard to believe, I think we'd know for sure by now if it was a three letter government agency that created Bitcoin.
Pretty sure it's tinfoil. Here's an old discussion on that alleged PRNG backdoor.

Guns are a bit like nethash - when evenly distributed, everything is (mostly) fine, but when concentrated in the hands of a few, the rest of us are fucked.

Everyone who values freedom should join the NRA. If you're in the UK, check out www.nra.org.uk and book yourself an introductory course, friendliest folk you'll meet.   Kiss   Or contact your local practical shotgun club (see four4islands.org), top fun with a boomstick, no tweed jacket required.

Not sure about the even distribution of guns being so positive - I would not like to live in central african countries where the guns are widespread, cheap and unregulated. Even when looking at western world, USA has 10x the amount of murders per capita compared to western european countries... guess why! I am not trying to push my subjective opinion here but the numbers do not lie.

There are better analogies than nethash to guns Wink

How about you stop going completely off topic? This is not a thread about Guns.
I'm more interesting in if we can expect the update next week?
