work has began and i have reached the stage where im looking for someone who knows how to create a youtube style video hosting site with a few extra's, please pm if you have the creativity and coding skills, ill pay in drk ;-) thanks

Any off the shelf stuff work for you? There's plenty out there to build on and a lot of it is free: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_video_hosting_services

I'm getting an error when trying to send funds, it says I don't have enough Darksend balance but I can see I have enough coins  Wink
i've had this same type issue a few times. after i cancel it and retry it it always goes through. for some reason it doesn't ask for a password on the second try though. at some point (after instantx?) we need to harden the code and fix all the little bugs.

on another note, the price of darkcoin will skyrocket to the moon once large bagholders with weak hands stop the mass dumping for 2-3 weeks straight. once investors see the mass dumping has finally stopped they will flood in. thanks for the cheap drk though!

Alternatively, select 'Create Normal Transaction' or 'No Preference' from the dropdown menu on the Send tab, or anonymise enough coins to send first, before using the default 'Create Darksend Transaction.'  Wink

During every cigarrette break at home I wind up shooting the shit with the neighbors, sometimes dark coin comes up. They are all definitely non-crypto folks, and I always assume no one would be interested in it other than us nerds, but almost all of them latch on to the subject and really want to hear about it. We all know what's up in the crypto scene and we're all about darkcoin. It seems like the obvious super-human strength of it translates well to the non-crypto crowd easily as well.

And if ONLY 10% of the 1% of all the people who value their privacy, we'd still have 7,272,200 people that might wish to use Darkcoin. Last time I checked there were only 36,494 DRK addresses or only 0.5% of the 10% of the 1%  Smiley  Smiley  Smiley

The potential is mind-bogglingly ENORMOUS!! "You just won't believe how vastly, hugely, mindbogglingly big it is."

Has anyone updated their Masternode but https://drk.mn/masternodes.html still says 0.10.15.17? Updated 2 hours ago.

./darkcoinid getinfo says 101519

It can take 2-6 hours for the web page to up-date

Ok. I feel better now Cheesy

This is one night of my life I will never get back...  I was updating some existing masternodes and getting 2 new masternodes up and running, pretty sure it was 10.15.14...

The new master-nodes showed up on drk.mn within about 60 seconds, so in my mind, the upgrades should have taken no longer than 2 minutes to show on drk.mn as well.

Don't ask me how many times I copied the new darkcoind, played around with permissions, recreated files, re-downloaded blockchains, created new wallets and other stuff I tried which I've forgotten now.  Probably wasted 6 hours on it.

I walked away in disgust to take a break, came back after 30 mins and hey presto, it was updated on drk.mn lol.

The new generation have arrived and they brought their own currency...

I am doing a lot of promotion here locally in HK and 'converted' a beijing friend as well (who said he is spreading the word)
might be the wired story as well

the big thing in China is that you can not get your money out of the country, that was where the big BTC boom came from as the mainlanders figured they could use that !
maybe they smarted up and learned that BTC actually leaves a record and DRK does not !?
let's see where this goes !
