In simple  terms, it states that everyone should hand over their BTC, but Ethereum will not complete the Software?

Personally I find the fact they even bothered to write up a big legal wall of text shows they are serious about the project. How many coin devs here deliver coins that don't work as intended or just give up and run off without any form of warning? You think Evan Duffield will ever write up some terms and conditions for all the times he's messed up with Darkcoin?

This is just a legal "Cover our asses" in case the project goes sour. If it frightens some people off then don't invest.

The big issue, They are asking for BTC upfront.
They are paying the legal team $3Million.....(Huh)
They have NO obligation to even  Complete the SOFTWARE.

ahh....what exactly is the payment for?

In the   Terms and Conditions.

It states that "Ethereum, has NO obligation to even  Complete the SOFTWARE"

This means....there is no responsibility on ETHEREUM to even complete the Software.  I am asking the questions, that needs to be answered. These are very basic questions before asking for everyone's BTC.

In the terms and Conditions it clearly states, "simple term" if we do not provide a software or even get it started, Too Bad.   If the only thing Ethereum is doing is "Covering asses"  who is looking after the investors  that will more likely lose 100% of everything Huh NO ONE.    Please read the fine print

These are the facts that have been provided....

The Ethereum Revenue Breakdown looks like a JOKE.  Seriously please read the fine print.  Huh

https://www.ethereum.org/pdfs/IntendedUseOfRevenue.pdf

To pay the lawyers that much $$$ means "saving Etherum asses" so no body goes to prison.

What does ether offer that can't be copied and matched by other alts?  Nothing!

But then again the same can be said about Bitcoin - already there are better coins than BTC yet most are worthless.  So you never know - but it's gonna be very difficult to displace Bitcoin's momentum and inertia.

The bitcoin it`s going down cause the Ethereum team it`s dumping all the BTC! They dumped 1,150 bitcoins 5 days ago when the price was $590, 1,350 3 days ago when the price was $550, and now they have dumped 1,237 more TODAY when the price was $510, that`s why we went down 500usd and we are going to $450... Fucking Ethereum, stop killing the bitcoin.

What did you'll think would happen??  You'll gave them over 27,233 BTC so far.  They have no reason to care about the price or how they dump it on the market.  All they care about is getting their money as fast as possible.

Based on their plan to withdraw 4150 BTC, they should have 413 more to dump.  Lets hope that is all they have to dump for now.

On https://github.com/ethereum/cpp-ethereum/wiki/Using-AlethZero

"You can also watch video instructions (YouTube: Joel's First Time Using the Ethereum AlethZero Client) for version v3.11" looks like a link, but isn't.

Maybe https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vXGH6q43i_k should be the target.

no one else is concerned with Ethereum not having a mining algorithm yet?

It's quite well under development now; a couple of hardware people we're talking to are saying good things about our general approach, and the main thing it's missing is a really rigorous professional review, which we'll obviously be able to much more easily attract post-sale. If we are not satisfied, we can always use SHA3 as a fallback.

hey bro i need your help with another bitcoin...i'll throw you on the list of the genesis foundation!(we have pulled your personal 1337 foundation block coins offline)* It's a community driven project ~ take a closer look!!!  Wink

I really don`t understand why people buy/invest or whatever a lot of money in something that do not exist? How you think to get profit from this non functional ponzi scheme?

So tell us how how you feel about Bitcoin?  Many people out there have said exactly that about Bitcoin and look, it's worth hundreds of dollars per coin.

Please clarify this, as this is the most important part of YOUR    Terms and Conditions.

It states that "Ethereum, has NO obligation to even  Complete the SOFTWARE"

What's wrong with "some team"?

You don't think Bitcoin has some team?

Bitcoin has a huge some team and I'm sure you love Bitcoin.  I'm not an ethereum investor but let's get real about the criticism - there are plenty of real reasons to complain.

Cheers!
