Hi!
Whats the current average of BTC per MH?

LPC

You just need to look at the the front page.  It's not that difficult to find...

http://wafflepool.com/stats

Every time a block is mined, a certain amount of BTC (called the subsidy) is created out of thin air and given to the miner. The subsidy halves every four years and will reach 0 in about 130 years.

So for now, we're back to normal mining.  I'll keep my eye on it here and there and see if it bumps to 2x, but I'm guessing its unlikely Smiley

Quick question. The stats and recently found blocks on the main WafflePool site do not include the ghash.io work, correct? Do we know when we will see that? Do you have a rough approximation of number of blocks we found, and what they payout might be per 1MH/s?

GHash.IO is back under 25GH/s now, and back to a 2x multiplier.

After watching the reward multiplier for a bit, this is definite:
- GHash.IO uses PPLNS where N covers the last 10 shifts.
- Reward multiplier is determined by the pool's average speed during the PREVIOUS round.

So, possibly a good strategy right now (until they change the rules again):
- Throw all of our WafflePool's hashing power at GHash for brief periods; rack up the share percentage in one round, and then cut everything when they switch rounds again.
- If we did this for one shift every 5 or 10 shifts, we could possibly  get paid out at 2x for the majority of rounds (as long as nobody else starts doing this).

It's too dangerous.
They are man, no coin.
Anyway, GHash will overtake 25G forever in a few hours. I was only 1G left in it.

When "Current multiplier"=x2, profit is 145%, not 200%(less block then expect)
So when "Current multiplier"=x1.25, profit will be 90.63%

just an idea: could you add Ghash to the graphs of what we are mining? if it's complicated - don't worry about it, but it'd be neat Smiley

What is the current mintcoin situation?  Is it still stuck in the wallet over at coinmarket?  Are they not honoring your request to withdraw it and trade at cryptsy instead?  (I only ask because the site appears to be up at the moment.)

As someone who recently switched to WafflePool, I'm glad poolwaffle was on top of this. I'm a small time, 3-card miner, so it doesn't mean a lot of increased payouts for me, but from an "exploit the exploiters" perspective, I applaud you, poolwaffle. You helped derail a shady-ish scheme to gain hashrate.

BTW I love your site and how payouts, etc are set up. This is my first "profit-based" mining experience and I'm really glad I switched over. Keep it up!

If we wanted to be dicks, we could just keep switching on and off them like every 30 minutes or so (and change up the timing so they can't predict it.) Every time we jam 40 gh up their ass, a ton of miners will bail on them, then when we leave others will come back, and this will continue until people get frustrated and say f this, and go mine somewhere else. We'd essentially rape them into oblivion the way multipools do to new coins with lucrative profit margins.

+1

Haha, love this idea!!

Yeah, they're making fun of miners.
If they had continued with their original promo, many miners might have stayed after the promo was over, but like this they just pissed off people, and nobody will remain once it's done.

If you stick around here long enough, you will eventually hear it all.  Mandatory donations!  Oxymoronic at best!  Are you originally from North Korea?

There is no shame in wanting to be compensated for your work and expenses.  Own up to it!

LMAO. As a slight aside, I love it when a pool says NO FEES NO FEES NO FEEEES!!!! Then you sign up and it's like mandatory 1% minimum donation and you can't lower it, and/or they have a much higher withdrawal fee than the upfront fee-charging pools do. I would rather just deal with a pool that tells you up front they charge 1 or 2% and doesn't dick around with you.

Hey sfire, could you post a pic or two how does multi-ghs scrypt mining facility looks from inside? Grin
