This is how it is, just watch it in bigger resolution like 30 or 1 hour, there is nothing you can do.
ps: waffle, the 5 min resolution on the stats don't make much sense too, up for increasing it a bit to like half an hour?

Yep, on the list Smiley

Makes sense, with 24k hits already, you could get some compensation from ads...

So should we now set no submit stale shares in cgminer? I think previously (or at least at MC) we were told to NOT set this.

You should leave it submitting stale shares (same as MC).  The reason for this is that cgminer doesn't know the difference between a stale share due to new block on the same chain (rejected on our end now), and a stale share due to coin chain change (accepted on our end - same as before).  If you let it submit, you'll get _some_ (a small percent) still accepted, even though cgminer thinks it would be rejected.

Hi guys,

I'm using Wafflepools since a couple of days and I'm happy with this decision so far. But still looking for more optimization as the 5min hash graph shows very large amplitudes. While my rig has constant 2.4Mh and WU 2300, the hash graph at better stats looks like this:

-snip-

Any ideas what could cause this?

Most likely latency. Run a ping test between the servers and pick the lowest to you.

This is incorrect.  It is only due to variance (we use 512 difficulty) and is completely normal.  Please check any of the posts about difficulty/variance (either in this thread, or others).

The whole pool is now running on the new stratum server (woo woo!)

I'll keep watching it over the coming hours to make sure everything looks good, but so far, looks awesome Smiley

You have set the expiry to too low value, thats why you are getting that much of stale-accepted, but it is not a problem per se.

Also going to experiment a bit with adding back some lower difficulty coins to see how the new server handles it Smiley

Rediculously underutilized.  On our bigger boxes (EU/USE), we went from a load of 2-3 consistently, to a load of 0.3-0.35...  Can easily scale back our servers Smiley  Just want to wait until people start coming back from Ghash to make sure it stays that way Smiley

I hope the lower difficulty coins work out I could use a few more fractions of a Bitcoin.

I might need to adjust the intensity.  Reject rate is currently 2.8% but it has only been about 25 min since I zeroed the statistics.
