waffle east server is not stable right now. i keep falling to my backup pool every once in a while.
i can easily tell because my backup pool has idle miner notifications and I am seeing them more and more as I switch back to waffle.

fyi

Yep, I'm like 3/4 done setting up new boxes.  About 28-29GHs is where our servers are capping out and having trouble.  Should be fixed in the next few hours hopefully.

There are several different types of Bitcoin clients. The most secure are full nodes like Bitcoin Core, but full nodes are more resource-heavy, and they must do a lengthy initial syncing process. As a result, lightweight clients with somewhat less security are commonly used.

bad situation...everyday profit falls....
 Shocked

For what it's worth, poolpicker had Wafflepool as the best payout ratio yesterday.  I figure everyone is screaming bloody murder and the usual thievery accusations at middlecoin about now  Tongue

that probably means we are mining mostly litecoin and dogecoin. they have more consistent times between blocks and thus
less rejects take place...

I like wafflepool so much in general, but profit is going down, under 0.01 MH  for some days, and it seems is going to continue like that, I dont know if we are reaching the limit. Any idea about what can we do now with our rigs to go again to 0.01 ?

It's been mentioned a million times. Go look at the the other pools' figures. Everything is falling. The altcoin market is the cause, there's really not much the pool can do to mitigate this.

Well I was not really talking about if the pool can do something about that or not. I know is not wafflepool fault at all.  I'm just asking if someone know any idea about how to go to 0.01 again, on this pool, on any other pool, mining vertcoin, or whatever other thing.

Put up massive bids on major exchanges for altcoins, earnings will go right back up.  Probably need a few hundred thousand dollars or so, but everyone will thank you Smiley

What?
Looking at blocks found, I see a vast array of different coins.  Where are you seeing that we only are mining litecoin?

Wow; i came on just looking to see if there was any better options right now since I wasn't getting .01 anymore, but this makes me feel better.   That being said, if some combination of production rate going down & litecoin price going up reaches around 15%, then it'll be more profitable to just mine lite straight up I think (rough math)

Heads up for everyone.  The new boxes (2x as powerful as the old ones) are ready to go, and are currently side-by-side with the current ones.  I've lowered the DNS timeouts, so ideally when we switch over, you shouldn't see much downtime (if any).

I'll be cutting over one cluster at a time (eu, useast, uswest).  Ideally you'll see a quick disconnect, reconnect, and keep on mining.  And then we should (hopefully) be able to scale past this 28 GHs wall we've hit Smiley

well it's worth considering if that happens that with our pool hashrate we'd be the 2nd biggest LTC pool(the biggest listed has 31 ghash right now)

Hi all,
I run 3 GPUs with a total of 2,2MHash. Shall I set a specific diff or just use the standard?

Use x

Unless you know better than the pool manager how frequently your miners should make server contact.

The only options are 512 and 1024 diff, with 512 as default.  With 2.2MH/s, there wouldn't be any good reason to use 1024.

@PoolWaffle: any idea why we are seeing Duplicate Share rejects regularly?

You can use one of the following as your password to set your miners difficulty (remove quotes):
"d=512", "d=1024"

Can set difficulty is not the same as should set difficulty.
